“Surprisingly good for a Chinese turned American restaurant.”

We went there because the restaurant we were headed to was overflowing. We had read the reviews and were hopeful it was as good as it sounded. Well, it actually was.
When we walked in, we were still skeptical. It was clearly a Chinese restaurant. It smelled like a Chinese restaurant, with the odor of stale grease in the air. Just not something that stimulates an appetite.
We were seated near the rear, noticing that the floor was badly worn, with multiple layers of paint worn off from chair legs. It may have been left that way to create "environment," but it didn't really accomplish that.
We ordered a couple of typical breakfast items and they were a little slow arriving, but when they did they were freshly cooked and hot. The servings were generous and presented nicely. The food was GOOD!

It may look and smell like a greasy spoon diner, but it has good food.

The reviews of Lee's helped decide to book the hotel next door. Neither disappointed us.
The menu was good and we enjoyed the food.
Seen several locals eating here which is a good sign.

People and service were fine. Was told by the front desk at our hotel (directly behind this restaurant) that this was some of the best American-style food around with generous portions. Decided to try their Asian-style food (the sign, the decor, the staff suggested we were in a Chinese food type of place.
Honestly, regarding the food, better off finding Safeway's China Express counter. Meats were almost flavorless, and the amount of rice was enormous (which meant I paid for mostly rice).

Ate here 1st time today. When you walk in it looks like it's out of business. But waitress greeted me with a smile and told me ti sit anywhere. Homely atmosphere with a big screen tv over fireplace. Clean interior and tables. Ordered eggs sauage and pancakes. Came out in timely manner . Huge pancakes. Overall for price food was good. If ever here again will stop.

This is a very friendly place to eat. They are always accommodating with special requests. The front and the waitress are on top of your orders and willing to make you feel at home. the name suggests a Chinese Restaurant but it is an all around menu, something for everyone!
