We went there because the restaurant we were headed to was overflowing. We had read the reviews and were hopeful it was as good as it sounded. Well, it actually was.
When we walked in, we were still skeptical. It was clearly a Chinese restaurant. It smelled like a Chinese restaurant, with the odor of stale grease in the air. Just not something that stimulates an appetite.
We were seated near the rear, noticing that the floor was badly worn, with multiple layers of paint worn off from chair legs. It may have been left that way to create "environment," but it didn't really accomplish that.
We ordered a couple of typical breakfast items and they were a little slow arriving, but when they did they were freshly cooked and hot. The servings were generous and presented nicely. The food was GOOD!
It may look and smell like a greasy spoon diner, but it has good food.
