We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ft. Abajo cabin. It was exactly as described. The location was perfect for our activities in Moab, Bears Ears, Natural Bridges, Canyon of the Ancients, Canyonlands, etc.
The front porch, at the end of the day was the best. Countless deer, occasional turkeys, and a gorgeous view made the margaritas taste even better. Although it was on the edge of town, the cabin has a great secluded feel about it.
My husband and I wanted to do something different for Christmas and had friends that did, as well, only they could stay just 2 nights. So we booked a house near Canyonlands for 4 nights. The last 2 we were alone for Christmas Eve and Christmas nights. It was just perfect for us. We were able to take side trips to Hovenweep, Canyonlands and Needles, and also had time to read, play games and watch movies. Great amenities, wanted for nothing! Deer and turkeys walked right by the house!
