The salsa isn't typical Tex-mex style, buy still good. The queso blanco was very good. I like that a lot of dishes come with sliced avocado. We didn't have to wait on a Friday night, it's reasonably priced and good service. Parking was limited and the front door was difficult to find - I thought the actual front door was the entrance to a bar!

Rio Mambo is either a Family or Couple Establishment. Great atmosphere ( authentic)
tasty, we had the spicy shrimp dish. ( Great) If you like Martinis Great for Couples or Family. If the Weather is nice, they have a nice outside area.

Had lunch today at Rio Mambo. The restaurant is very nice and the wait staff was very attentive. For those reasons I rated it average. As to the food, I have to say it was some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I took a chance on the lunch menu and ordered the Appetizer Platter because it sounded like a good combination. Unfortunately the Nachos, Ififautas and Quesadillas seemed to be made from yesterdays left-overs, All seemed lifeless with overheated chicken, meat and tortillas. Very disappointing for such a nicely appointed restaurant. I honestly have had better frozen dinners than what they served. The saving grace was the dab of Guacamole.
