myself and my husband got married at Rushton Hall in 2017 so each year we've come back for an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We weren't sure this year if our booking would go ahead due to COVID but it did thankfully.

We received a warm welcome on our arrival and all the reception team wished us a happy anniversary. We were given guidance to where our room was (We'd booked a State room and were in Cedar Room)
Our room was wonderful. Large dressing area, spacious bathroom and spacious dual aspect bedroom area.
We both enjoyed a long soak in the bath and watched some TV (TV in bathroom)! then went down for dinner.
We normally dine in the Tresham restaurant when staying at Rushton but we knew before we arrived it was closed. (I checked this in advance with the hotel).
We went to the Orangery and even though it was very spaced out and a large room, there was still a lovely warm atmosphere. Didn't feel cold or clinical.
Our meal was excellent. 10/10. each dish beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
breakfast the following day was also in the Orangery and again, was very tasty.
We enjoyed a walk around the grounds after breakfast and then checked out.

the only issue we had with our stay is that my husband is quite tall so as our bed had an end on it, he didn't sleep very comfortably. But when we checked out, a lady on reception kindly recommended us rooms with beds that dont have ends on so next time my husband would be more comfortable.
This issue isn't the fault of the hotel but it's something to bear in mind when booking a room at Rushton and one or both of you are tall! Ask for a room without an end on the bed frame.

So overall, we had a other lovely stay. We felt very safe with all the COVID measures they had in place but it didn't take anything away from the experience.

We look forward to our stay next year for our 4th wedding anniversary!

Great stay, is expensive but you do get what you pay for. Huge room, lovely extras with TV in the bath. Spa area is nice. Food was delicious.
If any criticism is the breakfast for £20pp think should be more choice on the pastries side and few hot items but that's being picky. Thanks again would return

Just come back from a two day stay. As always simply divine and totally exquisite, love love love Rushton Hall...their luxury rooms are exactly that, and the food Fine dining and the best ingredients. The staff and managers are so friendly and can’t do enough for you and as always made me feel so special, much needed and appreciated in these horrendous times... I can’t recommend Rushton Hall enough. I have been going for years now and I will continue to do so. Absolutely Covid safe and secure too!! So clean!! The perfect place for a total relaxation getaway or if wanting to treat a loved one to something extra special and opulent..a truly beautiful location and experience....oh and don’t forget to have a Spa treatment, they are totally luxurious and wonderful!!! 100% worth every penny.

This was our 3rd stay at Rushton. On our 2nd visit we paid the extra to upgrade to a superior room it was amazing. This stay was for a 60th birthday celebration. The room we were allocated was not like the advertised picture or quality we had last visit it was not worth the money. We did get moved but it was only a slight improvement. The excuse for our room allocation was they had been busy with bookings in the week leading up to our stay, we booked many weeks in advance as wanted this booking to be a memorable stay sadly it was not. Afternoon Tea was nothing special and felt the whole stay this time was not worth the money.

We are irregular visitors to Rushton Hall, sometimes staying overnight, particularly for celebrations. This is old style accommodation with all the modern trimmings and great service. The staff are very attentive while not being too intrusive; nothing is too much for them. They have managed to continue to provide something special within the constraints of the Covid rules. Our rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and dinner was a delight. I'm sure we will continue to visit, whether for lunch, afternoon tea or a celebratory overnight stay.
