“AVERAGE at best ,have stayed in a lot better places !”
Reviewed 3 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Arrived at the apartments,, which are not in the main block of the reception, but are located on the right hand side above a restaurant on the main road junction.
The room was smaller than expected but it had all the things you need on a holiday, except an iron, but it did have an ironing board which i thought was strange ,shame we didn't have an iron so couldn't use the board . (also not enough loo roll for 3 people)
The good thing was as it had almost everything else even a washing machine , hairdryer , microwave ,and large fan ,etc and two TV's all good.
A real let down ,we could not use the safe as was told the owner had his personally stuff in it ?( why provide an important safe you cant use ? and the tap in the bathroom if you turn it above half it sprays water all over your front ( great just as your going out! )
Pool area was lovely , water in main pool was cold , but small pool to the left was great for a swim and a lot warmer and quieter.
Get down early for the sunbeds it says on the pool notice you cant reserve them before 9am,( rubbish and not enforced .)
It was packed and most beds reserved by 8.00am with towels and no persons to be seen before mid day, if your later than 10am forget it !
Bar area and food around the pool was very expensive 5 euro for a pint of cider , in the supermarket opposite was less than 1euro ( you do the maths )
Pool area also has a gym at the back of the block above the small pool and some table tennis tables , and pool table by the bar and food area, all very clean and looked after.
We found the rooms dark and the dim lighting throughout depressing as you did not get any sunlight in any of the rooms and only a couple of hours of sun on the balcony at the very end of the day , didn't use this as it was partly covered by a 1 meter high yellow plastic screen so not a great view apart from the apartment block opposite.
Apartment was just about okay ,but could have been cleaner (needs a deep clean)
i think it could do with updating in the bathroom and the main areas looked tied .
The double bed in the bedroom was a memory foam mattress which was good but in my opinion the pillows need changing for a lot better ones than those provided , these are more like cushions than lovely soft pillows.
WiFi was good in the apartments and the televisions both worked with good channels .
The bed in the lounge area which my daughter slept in was the worse bed ever, she ended up with a bad back , you can't even call this a bed ( it needs to be a proper bed !)
UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOT DOWN TO THE OWNER OR THE PLACE IN GENERAL ,and ONLY MY EXPERIENCE which is why i have graded this as and average and not a terrible.
The front of the parc Santiago 4 apartments opposite have live music every night from 7.30pm until 10.30 pm which is the worse i have ever heard ( i normally love live music ) Its so loud we could not listen to the television over the screaming noise from the singer and the bands lousy songs every night!( we even started to guess the next song for a joke )
also the children's playground with kids screaming the whole time .
One night we had to force our self's to go out so we didn't have to listen to the music torture ,as three hours seemed like ten.
The windows are single glazed and as well as the noise from the music opposite ,you also get the street noise, not forgetting the lovely tones of the Irish traveler's at 4am in the street below serenading you with the-badly sung karaoke songs they had sung all night. not mentioning the early morning wake up call at 7.30 am every day by either the continuous road works going on around you on the main road or the delivery vans unloading to the hotels and restaurants 20 ft below you. ( best bring ear plugs if you want a good night's sleep),
Almost forgot to mention the other considerate holiday makers that bang the room doors at all times of the night and the middle aged guy who was in the room next door who was so drunk at 7pm wet himself in the corridor outside our room , so drunk he couldn't get his key in the lock to undo his, door.
As you can tell we wont be coming back to this place any time soon ,in my opinion a good place in the day but the evenings are really grim and only okay if your out all night , stone deaf or totally drunk for the whole of the holiday.
As a whole the Holiday Apartment was good value for the money as we didn't pay a lot
( you get what you pay for i think is the expression ) the service we got was from Stefan was excellent and the apartments okay , shame the location let it down.

Thank you for your review. First of all, let me say that the apartment ever had an iron - if it is not inside any more, it would have been better, if you could have told it to us, that we would have been able to buy a new one (maybe one guests before you has damaged it and took it in the rubbish). The safe was never advertised, but there is no stuff from the owner inside. The key of the safe never worked (we got this apartment with a not working safe) and it is impossible to repair it without spending much money, so we decided to advertise it not.
We have no influence on the prices of poolbars or supermarkets nearby. But there are many shops and stores (I think more than 200 shops) where you can buy everything in a walking distance of a maximum of 2 minutes and everybody can decide, where and with which price he want to buy it.
The matress of the bed and also the pillows are bought brandnew in october last year, so they are nearly new! The matrass has a high quality and is no one of the cheapest...
Regarding the restaurant on the opposite, I can tell you that they close at 22.30 and after that time, it is very silent. No children play on the playground at night and no music can disturb anybody at night.
Nevertheless you are welcome at any time, if you want to come back to Tenerife - maybe in our of our other apartments.

We have stayed in numerous apartments/hotels in the area and this apartment is in a really great location, close to the beach and nightlife. The only complaint is we had to pay to sit round the pool or risk being turfed out of the complex. We did raise this issue with management on the first day of our holiday to be told we would be sorted out with a pool pass but not until the Saturday - the day we would be leaving!!! We have never had to pay to sit around a pool before and this was not cheap! Put a big strain on us as we had two teenagers whose holiday revolves round the pool so for this reason we would not return to this apartment and suggest to other holiday makers that you confirm the pool passes will be ready for you cause 10 euro per person per day is quite expensive!

Thank you for your nice feedback. We are happy, that you enjoyed your holiday. The poolcards normally are included, but the guests which left the apartment before your arrival had taken the poolcards to their home and we had problems to get new poolcards. It is difficult because the owner had to send an email with an authority to get the new poolcards from the complex-reception and it took some days. I´m sorry, but next time you will be able to use the pool without paying anything. You are welcome at any time.

“Great apartment in a perfect location”

We loved Sven's apartment. It is small but perfect for a couple, well-equipped with everything from kitchen appliances to tv to stereo and a just-renovated open-space. It is located in a wonderful apartment complex that has a huge and beautiful swimming pool and a shopping centre. It is also on the lively avenida de las Americas, a buzzying avenue full of shops, restaurants, cafés. Everything you might need is at a stone's throw, you could forget about having a car if you wanted. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, it is a five minute walk from the first of a series of wonderful beaches; if you feel like walking a bit more you can also reach Los Cristianos, another charming place for dining, relaxing, going to the beach.
Sven was very efficient and precise in his communications, always replied within the hour and gave us all the details we needed to reach the place. He wasn't on site but had a friend of his meet us, so everything went perfect. I would go back tomorrow if I could and I highly recommend this apartment/place.

Liked best: The flat was great immersed in a perfect context
Liked least: the French double bed (it's smaller than normal double but basically all other flats had French double or two singles)
