Lovely quiet complex, quaint really, you wouldn’t know you were in the heart of PDLA. Good accommodation , Stayed in a well equipped apartment. Would choose to stay in a bungalow in future. Unfortunately swimming pool not heated, which is a downfall.

Our "superior bungalow" was located directly at the entrance to the main road. The terrace directly overlooked the very busy and extremely loud Avenida Rafael Puig. Odour nuisance due to a number of restaurants directly underneath our apartment. It was actually impossible to get any sleep before 2am in the morning due to very loud live music in the opposite bar and lots of drunk people shouting the entire night. Daily garbage collection (glass containers!) at 5am in the morning.... We knew that this is a busy place, however obviously due to the fact that we "only" stayed 3 days and had not booked directly (but via Booking.com) they obviously decided to give us the absolutely worst and most noisy apartment. On the other side of our terrace there was a bungalow obviously occupied by staff working for the hotel - with a dog shelter and two dogs barking constantly at us and passing people. The "sofa bed" was a total disaster with a shaky slatted frame, impossible to sleep on (and I only weigh 60 kilos...) - decided to put the mattress directly on the sofa itself which worked a bit better. The apartment was not very clean when we arrived (dirty windows and floors also not very clean). The only thing they put emphasis on was to ensure that I directly paid at check-in - they probably know why. This was one of the worst experiences I ever had (and I'm travelling a lot). I can imagine that the impression of this place might be much more positive if you happen to get a nicer bungalow in the middle / back area of the complex. However based on my experience I can only recommend to be very cautious booking this place for a few days via a booking portal without doublechecking upfront which bungalow you'll get. Extremely disappointing experience and very bad value for the money.

Room Tip: if you anyway plan to stay here, avoid bungalow No 2 at all cost...

When we booked this up it was just off the cuff. When the taxi driver dropped us off outside i asked where Los Cardones was and he pointed to the front gate. Well my missus and i just looked at each other and said no he must have us to the wrong place.

Well folks all i can say is don't judge a book by its cover.

We enjoyed a week here, the rooms are clean, well maintained. No arguments there thats for sure.

The staff are kind courteous and very helpful. Have any sort of problem or query they will do their utmost to help.

We never spent any time at the pool as we liked to get about but it looked busy enough without being too busy with more than enough sun lounger available.

The boutique village is central to everywhere, food, clubs, beaches, shops, taxis, car rentals, i mean everything.

I can't recommend this place highly enough and for the cost we cant moan.

A couple of things we did pick up on, 1 english speaking channel only on the tv (we should have took a hard drive)

The water boilers are only small so once someone has a shower there's a small wait for more warm water.

We stayed in room 66, the balcony is a proper sun trap.

If you can find an available date dont hesitate to book this place ;)

Arrived early and reception were very accommodating and asked the cleaners to prioritise our room so that we could get keys early. We got upgraded from studio to a one bedroom apartment for free due to availability of studios.

The complex is so peaceful yet right in the heart of Las Americas. Small gardens and paths are beautifully maintained as well as good pool area with snack bar. Room was very clean and modern with kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Big comfy sofa and useful coffee tables. Bathroom also modern with excellent walk in shower. Beds were comfy with various pillow choices. Free electronic safe box in wardrobe. Free TV with various channels.

We didn’t experience any noise whatsoever from outside or within the complex. Cleaners were in most days to change towels, beds and clean floors etc. Very handy for the beach and access to main strip with array of shops, pubs and restaurants all around. We would most definitely return as we had a great stay! 5 stars all round for us!

Right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, very quiet apartment village, clean ant the superior accomodation was fantastic. The staff were great and very helpful, so near to shops, bars and restraunts, I will go back

Room Tip: Not the two rooms on the street front as it can be noisy
