Just came back from a week stay at las dallis this is the 6 visit to it ,where do I start before I went emailed the hotel to say I was a loyal customer and always go to this hotel when I'm here and could I get a pool facing room , well what a let down was put on the 8floor room 808 it was like a box room facing onto the motor way went down next day to complain was told I'd have to pay at a discounted rate to one which I did, but come on las dallis the hotel wasn't full as a loyal returning customer this should never had happiness all I can say there has been big changes to this top hotel and it's not for the better all the small lovely touches and treats are gone short staff people having to que and all the bars as not enough staff on, food not as good all I can say your going to loss off loyal customers

Thank you very much for your assessment of our hotel and also for returning to visit us for the sixth time. We sincerely regret that you had a few issues on this occasion. At our establishment we have six different room categories with their corresponding tariffs, on a future occasion please do not hesitate to contact our call centre where they will gladly assist you on reserving a room that completely satisfies your personal requirements.

Gastronomy is one of the hallmarks of our hotel and we pride ourselves on our exquisite buffet, catering for all of our guest’s needs and desires, using only the highest quality ingredients and regularly rotating our dishes, therefore, we are very disappointed to read that you were not happy with the quality of our offer and we will relay your thoughts to our team and apologise for any inconvenience.

Regarding your comments regarding our staff numbers, we would like to reassure you that we follow a protocol of action and update on a regular basis the number of our employees depending on the season and occupation of the hotel, we are sorry if you did not receive this impression.

First visit here and pleasantly surprised. Booked for the school holiday half term without realising as the only week we could do and expected to be flooded with school children. However, plenty of kids in the hotel but didn't affect our enjoyment and added to the atmosphere.
Plenty of sun beds although the floor gets wet in many pool areas leading to soaking clothes and bags - although this was related to the many children bombimg in and out of the pool.
No big problem.
The Grand National dash for sun beds when the pool attendants raise the barrier at 8.30 is hilarious and pretty pathetic.
To see people in their 60s and 70s pushing and shoving amongst 10 year old kids is very sad, just to get their preferred sunbed - get a life!
and to make matters worse, after they have bagged their bed you dont see many of these runners for 3 hours. Probably have to go for a lay down and recover.
Plenty of beds to go round which makes the issue even more bizarre!
Hotel is central to plenty of bars and restaurants with a very small incline outside. As a man who has had thirty knee operations, I feel qualified to say that the incline is hardly a problem.
Quality and selection of food is excellent across all 3 meals on all inclusive with nearly all meats and fish on most days. We have found in recent years that all inclusive hotels in the Canaries often rely heavily on chicken and pork - this is not the case here, lamb and beef to mention two meats are also both served frequently.
Only criticism I would post is that the buffet food should be warmer. Plenty of hot food on the chef cooking stations but we found the general buffet dishes to be lukewarm at best and in many instances cold.
A pity because the quality and choice is high.
Plenty of drinks stations around the pool and restaurant to serve soft drinks, water, wine and beer.
Entertainment around the pool features family acts which is fine, older guests catered in the bar by singers near reception. Certainly good enough to listen to and have a beer.
Rooms were very clean and you could get towels if you required. You had to pay for a safe and long trousers were required for dinner in the restaurant - again not a problem as this is pretty standard in most 4 star hotels and you would expect that.
I will return again and ot's just a pity that the buffet food wasn't warmer. It would have made a great holiday into a fantastic one!

Room tip: Higher rooms give a better view although further from reception, pool and restaurant. We were happy enough on floor 2

We loved our stay at Iberostar Las Dalias.The food was lovely with plenty of choice, the hotel was kept very clean and tidy and the the staff were very friendly and polite.The entertainment staff were fab (very entertaining)The only criticism I have is the cocktails are not as described.

Thank you everyone at Las Dalias for making my stay in Tenerife so special. My late wife Mae and I always spent our holiday time at Las Dalias. Sadly for me this year I was by myself. For me the hotel is a real family hotel and the staff look after every guest as part of their family. Receipion girls are fantastic - also male staff too!!!. Down by the pool day and night again entertainment and again so friendly plus kids entertained too. With hotel all inclusive there is always excellent choice of food for all meal times. Again a huge thank you everyone and looking forward to another glass of champagne on my next visit. Soon be festive season so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all who make Dalias the friendly family hotel.

Overall my wife and I were pleased with the hotel, and the staff were excellent.
When we arrived we were given a glass of champagne which was a nice touch, we were then shown to our room which fortunately was not made up, it was on the ground floor overlooking the shopping centre right next door and it was a bit small and stuffy so they upgraded us to a room on the 6th floor just about over looking the pool.
The upgraded room wasn't much bigger but seem brighter and more welcoming, I reckon if we had stayed on the ground level I would have paid for an upgrade anyway.
On arrival next to reception there was a bar playing music for what seemed like an old people,s home night out, the music was from the 2nd world war but the guest,s happy and dancing, so good luck to them.
Downstairs was the restaurant and a second all inclusive bar where mostly families hung out and entertain was provide by the team (who were very good) and entertainers brought in by the hotel, and they were good too. We arrived about 11pm but the staff put on some food for us which was appreciated.
The bar stayed open to Midnight but the security staff didn't mind got drinks and stayed on to 1pm chatting, after that you were booted out, which was far enough.
The food was repetitive but there was quite a good choice so no complaints there.
The gym was pretty small but sufficient to buff yourself before getting the speedo's on,
only kidding, that,s for the Italian,s and Germans.
We have been lucky enough to have been holidaying for the last 20 years (both working) and this is the first time we have been at an Iberostar, from this experience we will probably only just use them in the future, nice hotels, brilliant staff and all inclusive standards very good.
Hotel had a nice adult only Jacuzzi area and 2 good sized pools.

Room tip: Don.t go for the budget room, you will be disappointed, we luckily had a free upgrade
