“Just don't go there.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2012

Look at the reviews as much as you like but my advise is do not select the "book now" button and that will be the best decision you have made.
It might have been a great hotel 30 years ago but it's pretty terrible now.

my friend and I arrived on sunday the 25th march for a week of relaxation, we were allocated a room in the main buildingon the 5th floor which we must agree was clean and tidy, but our overall impression of the hotel was about to be shattered. As we settled down to sleep around midnight we were wakened by groups of guys fighting on the landing and in the stair-well, we called security who didn't appear to be bothered by this!! over the whole week my friend and i got no sleep and were terrified to go out of our room, our rep was as much use as a wet paper bag!!!
The maid was lovely and the room was kept clean and tidy daily , but overall we will never be back at this hotel as there are much nicer ones around which appear to have a zero tolerance to drunken fights caused by english yobs.

Room Tip: just dont book

We arrived at the hotel in good time, flight and transfer were excellent, we flew with Thomas Cook, checking in was easy and the reception area, seating and bar area were beautifully clean and the bar staff lovely. We got to our room and it was nice and roomy, bathroom an odd shape reallly as the sink was opposite the loo and there isnt that much room between but its ok. Balcony is good and the view was ok too, we were the farthest part away from the hotel rather than overlooking the main pool which was good as it is a bit quieter. Expect a little noise due to the design of the hotel, noise travels up and echos but is not too bad, the only night we noticed it was St Patrick's night and you would expect that. Food was good, not too much choice with veggies but there is good choice and they do vary. I found I had to keep asking for the melon to be topped up every morning but its good that people at the hotel were being healthy and eating it. I would definitely visit again though not at peak times. The hotel was in easy reach of everything, beach a little walk but not too bad, turn right out the hotel, then right again and keep walking straight, you can also walk to Los Christianos but I'd advise getting a taxi back, two ways walking unless your super fit is a bit knackering lol. Have a good holiday, regards, Daphne and Mark x

Room Tip: Always ask for a double, quiet room on a higher floor with a balcony, possibly sea view.

We arrived here after our delayed flight of 10 hours so we were looking forward to relaxing in room that night . Firstly when we arrived it was like a circus ! Me and my boyfriend are 21 and Irish yet this hotel isn't suited for anyone only English drunks.
On arrival after paying €800 for hotel all inclusive we were told a studio which costs €300 was only available . We also weren't given any help from Miriam the receptionist it was tough ....like it or lump it . Even tho I had a receipt for hotel!
I rang a rep and was told take the room until the following morning and they would sort it. For anyone booking studios they are horrible !! Old and out of date. Following morning they did find our booking we got changed and got our bands for all inclusive .
I'm trying to be as honest and fair as I can this hotel is not suited for Irish we never sat out by pool as the majority were English old and young drinking all day long making noise and at one point abuse was shouted about bobby sands at me . Why I do not know !
We NEVER used the all inclusive apart from 1 night it's a dogs dinner not nice And the night we did my boyfriend was vomitting .
Other hotels are much cheaper and friendlier and I wouldn't reccomemd family's to stay here .
On our last night we opened the door @ 10pm to find a young fella about 25 going to the toilet against the wall in hotel I reported this and they didn't even apologise !!
I hated the hotel due to lack of attention lack of friendliness and due to the unfriendly English which surprised me as its 2012!!! Move on I did nothing to them why b nasty to me ? It ruined the holiday as we couldn't lie out by pool or anything ! 85% of people were drunk daily ! Pity as hotel is lovely and clean if staff were trained properly and they enforced the policy's better. Hope this helps.
