Mei Shi Xuan means 'Good Food Place', and if you are looking for a Chinese meal, this restaurant won't disappoint. We were introduced to it by friends and to be honest, we weren't initially that hopeful. There are many of these 'eat as much as you' can buffets around the south and this restaurant, on The Patch, didn't look any different from the rest. Happily, we couldn't have been more wrong and it is now the only place we go when we want a Chinese meal. The service is excellent and Amy is very friendly and remembers you from previous visits. The food, for the frankly measly price of 6.50 euros is excellent and regularly refreshed, I have never had anything cold. The crispy duck pancakes are delicious, as are the chilli chicken and beef in black bean sauce. There are four different flavours of ice cream, if you have room after the main courses, try the coconut, delicious.
