So the hotel has had a recent make over and has modern feel. At first impressions it does look smart.
But sadly that's the positives over. Staff not very engaging and language barrier is tougher than most Spanish hols we've had!
the 4star rating can not be given for food or cleanliness. Bed sheets only changed once a week. (On Day 4 of 7).
The pool area wasn't cleaned the whole week, we got the same beds table all week the table wasn't wiped once ( see pic ).
Food is not bad but lacklustre . A poached egg request was just meet with shrug of shoulder as I don't understand what you want!
Luke warm was the norm.
Tables very close to one another.
No system for a waiter to service a set number/area of tables was chaos at times. Empty plates not cleared promptly then 4 waiters would turn up simultaneously.
A shanty town view from the non sea view rooms is not very pleasant and the shoddy shop roofs below was also not good on the eye.
A big flaw is the hotel atrium also is the "back door" to the street shops which are not hotel controlled . One shop was having minor construction work which resulted in intrusive noise to the rooms as the atrium layout just amplified the noise.
A definite will not return. More
