The communal areas in the hotel are beautiful. There is a large pool at the bottom, there are sunbathing terraces all the way up (the hotel is built on a steep rock). So plenty of little private areas. There is an infinity pool at the top and jacuzzi and also a beautiful bar with a fantastic view. The food is excellent, great choice, well presented and well cooked. The rooms are large, but they are in need of refurbishment. The carpets are thread bare, this is also evident in the corridors. There is a dancing club attached to the hotel. This is well used by over 60's and serves mainly German clients. We had a great night in there.
The hotel is opposite the beach. There are plentiful restaurants and snack bars for lunch, but it is empty at night. The bars round about are mainly tired and dingy. If you turn left when you come out of the exit to the beach, there are a few really nice bars.
Overall, a good holiday.More
