Booked based on price for one week, two rooms all inc and was pleased with the hotel overall.

The location isn't bad, few shops around and a taxi rank about 2mins walk. Within 5/10min walk you can get to some nice places and a 5min taxi ride takes you to places like yumbo (5 euro) or maspelomas (8euro). Really easy to get around, the hotel is a good base.

Hotel from the outside looks like a carpark from a distance but when you get close is nice, but you won't spent time stood outside looking at it.

Check in was ok - the check in staff moved us a few times between reception staff and kept telling us to move, clearly talking to us but not each other. That said check I only took 10mins. Check in staff not as friendly as other staff in the hotel, but have the least interaction with them.

Rooms were ok but need updating. The beds are uncomfortable and furniture is tired but the room is spotless and was cleaned every day, even a day when we had to turn the cleaner away they came back during the evening to clean to tidy the room. The rooms are a good size and our room on the 1st floor meant you could just use stairs to get up and down but noise from the pool was annoying. 6am can hear cleaning the pool area and from about 1030 till 4 you get the animation team making noise (so napping was difficult), room good enough tho as don't spend to much time in it. Rooms don't have aircon but we didn't need it for the temp when we visited (mid 20s).

Food and drink all good. Choice was a little limited by the last day as felt we had tried everything, and food around the pool was time limited meaning if you want to grab a quick bite around the pool you need to pick times carefully. Bar staff and service all fab but the "order" the food is put out can mean you end up with some odd combinations - my advice, look before you plate up and avoid the pasta as it's not great.

Pool was nice, we hung around the smaller pool which was heated but found that we needed to keep moving to stay in the sun as it's very shade covered with trees. Some of the pool loungers are broken and down sit up. We never struggled to get a sunbed but I think our first few days the hotel was quiet as the final day the bar, restaurant and pool were all much much busier. Despite the pool being close to a road you can't hear it and the pool area is and relaxing and we spent a few days around the pool.

Didn't really watch the evening entertainment as usually went out. The hotel does seem to appeal to older groups, we range from 32-42yrs and during the first few days were the youngest in the hotel it seemed. When we booked a day trip and mentioned our hotel they even asked our age and commented that the hotel usually has older people staying within. Didn't cause any issues tho.

Overall for the price, hotels a bargain and if got the same price again wouldn't hesitate to go back and if the hotel bought nicer beds it would be a vast improvement.

When we arrived at the hotel it was dark out-side so didn't see the awful colour of the hotel until
the next day.

First impressions of reception looks very nice and clean and run to an extremely good standard.
Check in was swift and the staff where very efficient. The room we had was on the 1st floor which had been cleaned to a high standard, and there was plenty of wardrobe space the bathroom was spotless but being on the inside steamed up after a shower but this soon cleared. The safe was 2 euro a day which isn't anything for piece of mind.

In the dining room there was a great choice of food and there were some delicious soups on
offer some which I have never tried before. The waiting staff were courteous and very professional. In the evenings men where required to wear long trousers (to keep up standards)
women could wear what they wanted including short beach shorts which I think is unfair. This rule of looking smart should apply to every-one.

In the evenings there was entertainment on out-side but if you sat in the bar area there was nothing, perhaps an idea would be to put on some background music. The entertainment didn't really appeal to us, but to be fair Patrik in the animation team was friendly and welcoming towards the guests he was a very sociable young man.

The pool area was very nice spotlessly clean, the sun beds where close together, but if you wanted to lie in the sun and got to the sun-beds soon enough they also provided a nice sun-bed type mattress to put on top of the sun bed.

Had a brilliant time at this hotel, and would like to say thanks for the champagne on my birthday.

My family and I hope to return to this hotel sometime in the future.

Enjoyed this hotel. Very clean everywhere in the complex. The variety of food was brilliant. The only setback is there's not a great deal of nightlife in this area. The bus service is very good for visiting Puerto Rico and Puerto mogan nicknamed little Venice for good reason and there are markets to visit most days.

Like the hotel location. It is quiet and relaxing. There is some street noise, which is to be expected. Near to Paseo Gran Canaria for leisurely walks. Hotel staff more than welcoming and helpful. Great choice of food.
We will be returning.
