Visited this hotel with my boyfriend on a 4 day/3 night trip to Gran Canaria booked with Thomas Cook. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to return one day. We stayed all inclusive, the food is standard buffet style with loads of choice from meat, fish, breads salads and puddings, there was always something we'd like and the presentation was spot on. There was lots of drinks choice available in the restaurant and the minimarket for when chilling by the pool; the bar opens at 5pm and does a great frozen strawberry daiquiri! Service from all staff at the hotel was exceptional, reception would go out of their way to help whenever needed. On our final day we checked out at 12pm but our transfer to the airport wasn't arriving until 7pm, the staff allowed us to use the all inclusive facilities for the final day as it was my birthday and even offered us a courtesy room if we needed to shower and change after being down by the pool. The hotel is adult only which makes it a peaceful resort, with 3 pools there was always plenty of sun loungers available and the hotel simply isn't big enough for it to ever be heaving. Spa facilities are a great extra, available to use at €6 a day of €12 for the week, there was also a range of massage and facial treatments available at an extra cost. Only a few issues on our trip but these were purely mis-communication from Thomas Cook, at no fault of the hotel. Lovely staff and would return again for sure!

My wife and I have just returned from a 10 day holiday at Sunprime Atlantic,
What a fantastic holiday it was, the hotel is one of the best that we have ever stayed in,
the staff are excellent, the food is excellent, and the hotel is spotless.
the room was amazing plenty of room for two of us, we had a room ith a small kitchen although we went all inclusive, very spacious with our extended balcony that had two sunbeds and also a table and chairs, very relaxing.
the meals were great with a huge choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner,
beer and wine were on tap along with all sorts of fruit juices, and in the lounge, there were all sorts of different cocktails on offer too.
my thanks to all the staff there.especially the reception staff, nothing was to much trouble for them.
yours truly.
Mr.D.C.Williams.

Room Tip: we stayed on the second floor where you have the extended balcony.

This is the second time we have visited this hotel in the last 3 years and we love it. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful hotel this is the one. Plenty of sun beds round the pools and the rooms are kept spotless. The entertainment on a night isn't the best but it's only a 10 minute walk to the yumbo centre and a little further to the other bars. The staff are all friendly and always say hello which is nice. We stayed on the second floor room 248 and the view over the pool and maspalomas in the distance was nice.
One thing we weren't keen on is the repetitiveness of the food this time round. Pizza pasta/ravioli with fish every day. One night they had prawns on. With prawns in batter. And paella with prawns all over it. We preferred the themed nights (Mexican/chinese etc)
Also one thing that left a little bit of a sour taste on our last day.
We had to check out at 12 handed in our room card to reception and they couldn't wait to take our all inclusive band off us. Then they asked us what time we arrived on the first day, and because we arrived around 10pm they said they would allow us to have lunch in the hotel. Like they were doing us a favour.
Other than that we love the hotel and if you're looking for a quiet place to relax for your holidays then this is the one. The safety deposit box was free to use this time which was a nice touch.

This is a lovely spacious hotel, from the front entrance to the lounge and dining area lots of space. The bedroom we were in was also a good size with a good sized wardrobe and lots of hangers, also drawer space, there is also an ironing board and iron. The room we had also had a little kitchen with a microwave 2 ring cooker, coffee maker ,kettle and fridge every thing was there if you were self catering. The bathroom was clean had a large shower there was also soap/shampoo at the sink and in the shower, there was also a hairdryer. The balcony was large with a table and 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers. We were all inclusive and the meals were very good lots of choice for all meals. The safe boxes in the room was free most hotels on mainland Spain you have to pay. The staff were all very pleasant and Jose on the front desk and Oscar were very obliging nothing was too much trouble for them, we found all of the staff very pleasant. There are 3 pools and lots of sunbeds. The hotel is a good walk from the sea and there is a free bus from the hotel but the times did not suit us so we just walked down in the evening took us 40 minutes but that was at a slow pace. The hotel does have a map of the area but the writing is small even with my reading glasses I could not make out the street names. This is one hotel I would book again.

Room Tip: We were in room233, 2nd floor right over the lounge area found it quiet, from room 235 to about 216 the balcony's are all large

This is was our second visit to the Sunprime Atlantic View and we are so pleased to have returned and even better that everything was just as good as before.

From the welcome on arrival, to the staff in the restaurant/bar – everyone we spoke to was so friendly and welcoming. It was nice to see some familiar faces of staff still working at the hotel, which we would take to be a good sign that the good level of service we have become used to can be maintained! This time we stayed in a studio room – whilst it was smaller than the room we had last time which had a separate bedroom – the room was big enough and was up to the high standard we remembered in terms of décor, comfort and cleanliness. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the central block of the hotel (above restaurant) and had lovely views from the room – we often took ‘take-out’ drinks from the bar and sat on our balcony enjoying the view and having a drink before dinner…. Bliss!

We stayed again on the all-inclusive option – the quality of the food was as good as before. Whilst breakfast items where repeated daily, the selection was so large that you could easily have something different every day and not get bored. Lots of lovely fresh salads and different starters and mains to try each evening. The only thing which we missed from our last visit was the distinct food themes each evening (last visited each evening was a distinctly different theme) – only one night was clearly a theme – Mexican which was delicious…. Don’t get me wrong there was still plenty of choice to be had – but we did particularly enjoy the different themes on our last visit and the additional sense of variety.

Daytime drinks available from the shop (soft and alcoholic) where good and easy to access – the Sangria is worth asking for – delicious! In the evening at the main bar, again the drinks and cocktails did not disappoint – a good selection and generously poured. We never experienced much of a wait to be served, and always with a happy face – staff were again so friendly and helpful. They really do work hard to make it a great time for everyone.

There was live music most evenings, although the quality of this did vary somewhat – the Monday night act was really very poor – the others were much of a much ness – not bad, easy listening…. but the Tuesday night act was superb! If you could have that quality of an act every evening we would have no reason to leave! That said on the nights without entertainment – it did give us an opportunity to visit some of the local bars/nightlife which was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to Yumbo centre and we really enjoyed that.

The hotel is very popular with Scandinavian/Nordic guests – being from the UK we were very much in the minority – this did not bother us in the slightest – we loved it! The hotel is so blissfully quiet and no music allowed by the pool which made it very relaxing. If you want a quiet relaxing time this hotel is for you – if you want a party holiday there are lots of other places to cater for that…

We tried the Yoga class and the Water Aerobics classes which was available daily. It was great - Dionna (not sure if that’s spelt correctly!) was a really fun instructor for the classes. I did the Water Aerobics for the whole visit, but only tried the Yoga near the end of the holiday – wished I’d done it sooner as it was for all abilities.

This is the first time we have ever gone back to the same hotel for a second stay, as we worried about getting bored – but this was certainly not the case – we loved it very much and having been before meant we were able to switch off and relax immediately on arrival.

We will certainly be back again. Thank you to all the staff! Highly recommended!
