On arrival the there is no expectation of what one is about to see. After booking you are directed into the the foyer which is white and grey marble. There is a staircase up to the next floor and again it opens up to a balcony from which the rooms are situated. There is also a lift
for easy access with luggage. The marble foyer gives the whole place a cool atmosphere even on the hottest of days. The rooms are well maintained and are decorated to a pleasant standard with all the toiletries one needs for a short stay. There are gardens which are pleasant to sit in and again are well maintained.
The restaurant is in separate building and serves a good standard of food and drink at reasonable prices, one can also have food outdoors if it is suitable. The staff are all friendly and pleasant and are very helpful if required.
There is a secure parking facility but, this can be expensive at 7 euros per day.
The rates for two per night with breakfast were 60 euros which is reasonable considering the decor and comfort of the building.
The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the town centre which has a pleasant square where one can sit and enjoy a beverage andwatch the world go bye, as seems to be the custom in Spain.
We have stayed in this hotel on two occasions and found the experience to be exceptionally pleasant and would go back again.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms

Street side gives little idea of the wow-factor interior: passing the functional reception you enter into a full height internal atrium with decorative white ironwork, marble and pillars: feels like being inside a wedding cake! Very pretty. Our 1st floor room was spacious and old-style gracious but with modern clean bathroom. Overlooked busy road; shutters, windows and heavy curtains kept out noise. Ground floor room by reception reportedly suffered some noise from phone calls/reception business.
Out back is a pleasant cafe/restaurant and gardens/terrace.
Travelling in a group meant evening meals were no-choice but authentic Spanish (a bit too authentic for some fellow group members). No other diners in restaurant at night.
10-15 mins uphill walk to historic centre and main square.

Last June my Mum and myself stayed at this very comfortable hotel. We were immediately impressed with the gorgeous lacework and bright and clean interior of the building. Our room faced the street but was very quiet. The furnishings were very attractive. I think there was three floors and there was a lift. The restaurant was at the rear of the property and they served a beautiful breakfast . The hotel is very close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants and is within walking distance to the Plaza Mayor, although it is quite a steep walk through the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
