It was our first visit to Greece and we stayed at different places during our visit. Galini Palace was our first stopover. Beautiful location and cleanliness of the property gives us a comfortable stay. Host and staff are highly supportive and helpful. They will advice you for everything you want to know. The property overlooks the sea and the serenity is breathtaking. Public transport is available just close to the hotel. Overall a good hotel, host and hospitality. We had a pleasant say. Many thanks!

Room Tip: All rooms are overlooking sea. May be the rooms on 2nd floor slightly better but we were on first floor and it had a beautiful view too.

3 months prior to our stay - I had emailed requesting late check out and offered to pay. I received an email back saying that we could check out late with no extra charge I was so grateful - however on our last day at 11:55 am the old man phoned us after seeing us 3 minutes before at the reception desk to advise us we must get out. After trying to explain to him at we had late check out he did not seem to care. I told him we had not packed nor bathed etc. he gave me 20minutes.
The breakfast needs work on and there is no tea or coffee served in room.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone they are very rude at reception except for the one young lady.
They advertise the rooms as soundproof this is not the case. We could hardly sleep due to the loud noises.
Plus someone was smoking canabbis on the property and the terrible smell came through to our room.
The door to the bathroom was broken

This 3 star hotel is perfect for any traveler. The rooms are clean and neat, they have aircon and a bar fridge in your room. Breakfast is included in your stay and is a lovely basic continental breakfast, with breads, cheese, pastries etc.
The staff are friendly and helpful and you can book excursions through them and your normally get a 10% discount.
There is a bus stop outside the hotel and you can get anywhere inexpensively.
Behind the hotel within walking distance is a lovely row of restaurants where mainly the locals frequent.

Enjoy the spoils of Greece.

This is a good priced hotel, in an exceptionally convenient location.
The hotel overlooks the sea, a hop across the road, or a short walk along and you are at the beach.
In the opposite direction 90second walk behind the hotel and you are in Voula Main where the shops, restaurants and cafes are to experience some good Greek food.
Don't be put off with the hotel being 18km from Athens centre- directly outside the hotel is a bus stop that will take you to any destination- with one single priced ticket you get the bus to closest metro stop which takes you to centre of Athens and beyond.
We had a car, and with the hotel being conveniently located near the end of the main road which leads in straight lines to all the destinations you'd want to go (airport, Poseidens Temple, Gyfada, Athens, etc see google maps).

The rooms were simple but very clean, the sea view was nice (even though blocked by trees), the breakfast was the typical basic Greek breakfast, and they accommodate dietary needs if told in advance.

The staff were VERY friendly and helpful, which is always the biggest bonus,

The downside of a sea view room is that useful main road - this hotel sits directly on a speedway, and unfortunately you can hear the high-speed cars throughout the night, which made it impossible to get a good nights sleep.
(Strangly, the road is not that busy, but the cars go at a very high speed which makes it constantly noisy. Tighter seals on the sliding balcony doors may have helped lessen the noise).

It is worth staying at this hotel for the convenience and safe location, but I would strongly recommend against the sea view rooms as ths noise was definately not worth the views.

Main points:
- Only 30 minutes from the Airport if driving. Pretty much a straight road.

- Nice views from room balcony

- Very convenient transport links: bus to tram, bus to metro, bus to wherever, or road to drive.
Public transport cost €1.40 for a ticket which allows you to use any mix of transport (bus/metro/tram) for up to 90 minutes. Easy to get to and from Athens.

- Very convenient location: less than 2 minutes walk to Voula, 6 minutes walk to beach. Safe location so you could walk late at night.

- Free good quility Wifi (if you need it)

Room Tip: Sea-view rooms have great view but extremely noisy main road which can be heard all night.

This is a reasonably priced hotel. The rooms were very clean - so that was a great bonus and you got what you paid for. The breakfast was very simple, but they accommodate dietary needs (when told in advance).

The great downside is that this hotel is on the main road and unfortunately there are high-speed cars going through all night, which made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. The views were stunning of course, but it wasn't worth the lack of sleep.

Only 30 minutes from the Airport, we stayed overnight so we can travel on to a different part of Greece the following day.

Room Tip: don't pick sea view as the main road is so noisy!
