There is nothing more enjoyable than watching children in the Butterfly Center at HMNS. My grandsons love the place and that's good enough for me! It is joyful!

Adjacent to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, this exhibit is in a large glass pyramid. It houses an amazing and beautiful assortment of not only butterflies, but also animals, fish, birds, bats, flowers, treest and plants. The eductional exhibits are top-notch. Watch out for the hissing cockroaches and the stinky giant flowers! This place is worthy of repeat visits.
