We took the Heart of the Tunnel Walk in downtown Houston. We had a guest from Japan and wanted to know more about our new city. We met our group in an historic hotel downtown (I want to stay there, too!) Our tour guide, Sandra, was most knowledgable of the history of Houston. She kept us entertained with facts & history. We did not stay in the tunnels the entire time, but were given a skyline tour then proceeded to the connecting tunnels. Very interesting. Lots of history, good restaurant break and a little shopping. A great way to learn about downtown Houston!
