We drove to this and were unimpressed. We opted to not even get out of the car. Nothing at the scene drew us in or made us want to stop the car to take a closer look.

I wasn't sure what to expect of this place from the reviews online, but I am glad that I went. It is a novelty place resembling a long forgotten roadside attraction. It is small, it doesn't take long to go through, but it is the fun ambience of being surrounded by carnival metal that I found interesting. For a mere $5 cash per person, you can stop in and keep this place going for future visitors to enjoy also.

I am really not a fan of this type of obsive folk art. It is a bit more interesting than the beer can house in that the structure is more varied but taken/inspired by the vision of the creator of this jumble of stuff and see it as inspired art, or you see it as a jumble of junk put together by a nut. One thing is clear you will know quickly if you like it or can't wait to move on.

If you like odd art then you will probably like this place. It's a testament of what you can do with recycled objects. Charge $5 admission, kids under 12 are free. It's worth a visit. Be sure and check out Smithers Park just down the road.

I found this not an uplifting experience: the scope, vision resulted in a melancholic experience. The creator had steam and oranges on his mind, expected the world to appreciate the vision he had created. The world did not come. Well worth the experience. The young man at the booth has good knowledge.
