This place is very eclectic and colorful. It costs a few dollars to get in (it goes to the restoration of it) but it is a fantastic place to take pictures - many neat colorful backdrops including hearts and mosaics, and different light levels. There is a park outside of it as well that is very artistic and family friendly for gatherings.

Disappointing. The place has not been kept up. It takes just a few minutes to see it and they charge $5. It's quirky in a folk art form. There is the new Smither Park just down the street, a better use of your time.

As a local, I have had the honor of visiting this unique folk art monument. Everyone has a dream and this was one man's tribute to his. It is a fun place, yet small place to explore, and a great place to take pictures.

Houston has some wonderful folk art, much of it overseen by the Orange Show Foundation. We last visited years ago and enjoyed it very much, but it was closed when I was there last month. However they have built a very fun wall close by so it was very worth our trip.
We also checked out the Beer Can House.

we discovered this weird magical place by accident. It's placed right next to all these small houses. you can't even really describe what this is - a park, a museum, a playground, an art show - you just have to discover the history of this place for yourself! We certainly loved it, the vibe around this place is so positive and just beautiful to look at! Takes you away from busy Houston and puts you in a magical state of mind.
