We moved over to this side of town last June and were searching for a local Tex-Mex place in this area. After auditioning a few, we tried Salsa's.
First, like any Tex-Mex place, you receive salsa and chips. Salsa's provides a terrific smoky tomato salsa and refried black beans for dipping. Both are delicious!
While I cannot say any one dish is a standout, all the dishes I've tried (including fajitas, quesadillas, carne asada, tacos, and enchiladas, have been good to very good. Pricing is typical for West Frisco, which is to say, pricier than some areas of town.
The place is intimate, and always packed at lunch and dinner. What puts them over the top for me is their jalapeño margarita. Shaken, spicy, and tasty. Consider visiting there if you're in the area.
