Rooms are nicely updated with laminate floors and pod showers, and non smoking rooms are in a separate building. We got a room with two beds, and one was definitely more comfortable than the other.

Room was clean. Staff was efficient and friendly.

In a perfect world, there would be more water pressure, but anyone staying at Motel 6 should expect a lower bill, not a perfect world. This delivers, even with the annoying $3 Internet charge. We stayed at another hotel in this town on our way thru last week, and this was better for $25 less.

One big concern: The concrete walkway on the 2nd floor slants down toward the parking lot at about a 10 degree angle and the stairs need repair. It made me a little nervous. Hopefully, they will address that soon!

Unlike many Motel 6's we have stayed at in Texas (DONT STAY AT ANY M6, HOUSTON), this one was very well maintained. The room had both MW and frig. The TV was HD. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The only odd thing was that the pool had patio table but no chairs (WT?) So there was zero place to sit outside to enjoy the evening. Other than that I recommend this M6.

Stayed here with friends recently and was a little disappointed with the Wi-Fi fee and for poor Wi-Fi at that. The rooms were tidy and adequate and with a nice view overlooking the pool.

We had a few issues with one or two other rooms in the complex fighting and causing a problem. Initially thought management of the issue poor as suggested we should move rooms, but the management improved when police were called. They were apologetic.

It would be interesting to stay again without the issues described as this may have marred our view of the stay.

They also do not serve breakfast.

I've met several friends in Fort Stockton Texas.
Honestly have to say I was shocked that this was a Motel 6. The hotel was in great shape the staff was amazing and the rooms were new and clean with most comfortable bed I've ever slept in a Motel 6. I highly recommend this hotel if you're passing through on the 10 freeway is definitely a place to consider for a good night sleep.

Stayed at this Motel 6 for 2 nights, as in between two long driving days and wanted to explore town and fort itself. This motel is fairly average for a Motel 6, with same basic layout as most others. I quite like Motel 6's generally, as usually good value and hopefully fairly clean, and this motel was not an exception. Never consider these motel 6's good for too long a stay but they are amply suitable for my needs where just needing somewhere to sleep, wash, shave and store my baggage. Room here was comfortable enough and slept well overnight. Motel is conveniently situated in the town, whichever direction travelling and there is a K-Bobs over opposite where easy to go for dinner. I like this restaurant chain as they have an "all you can eat" salad bar which includes soup and desert and so able to be greedy most cheaply. Am hooked on their cowboy beans as starter. An advantage too is this chain accepts your Motel 6 room card for a 10% discount, albeit the receptionist in Motel 6 didn't know this. However, the thing I most disliked about this Motel 6 was their wishing to charge me $3 per night for wifi. Cannot be justified and only few Motel 6's have the cheek. Not paid for wi fi in any motel yet and do not intend starting. If you politely argue a little all will waive it though anyway. Fort Stockton itself proved to be a pleasant enough town, and easy to spend a day exploring old town, visiting fort, looking in visitor centre, touring museum, the old courthouse, etc. Also very pleasant park to enjoy when rest needed.
