What a nice surprise, authentic Mexican food, fairly priced. Mexican love ballad on the stage. Excellent service. Valet parking and a lady selling roses.
Truly felt like a Mexico market.

Dropped into this restaurant while traveling through the Metroplex. I like to try local places when I can and this did not look like a chain. It wasn't. Lots of locals-very few travelers despite the location right on I35-most speaking Spanish. The food was very good with dishes not found in a standard TexMex restaurant. Lots of Mexican atmosphere that was fun and interesting. A large group of Vaqueros in full regalia from a horse ranch were celebrating with their families and they took turns singing (and doing a good job) traditional Spanish ballads with a Karaoke machine. Only complaint was the volume was a bit loud-if everyone wasn't there for the Karaoke they pretty much had no choice as conversation was impossible once they fired it up. Was easy to imagine you were back in Puerto Vallarta on vacation-loved it!

Location was in Desoto, very loud music. Hot sauce was very runny. Served us warm salsa only, asked for cold salsa she brought out red water with cilantro. Food was different, ordered beef enchiladas, meat was good. They put an orange slice and cucumber slice on a bed of lettuce. Fried fish was rubbery. Queso was neon yellow in color but not bad. They were playing Cops on the tv showing a bloody guy who was stabbed. Will not return. Funky smell.
