My wife & I stayed in one of the detached villa cabins and everything was super! These cabins are a great blend of rustic & modern, extremely well done, with great amenities in the room. Beautiful Lodge restaurant with great food and service!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Their dedication to customer service is commendable.
The room was cozy, extremely clean. The hot tub provided a relaxing end to each day. Surrounding property is quiet with beautiful views. We definitely recommend dining at the Bistro: I must say the bacon wrapped filet was one of the best I have ever had. Amazing service from both our server and manager. The sister properties provided a tasty lunch as well. I hope to have another visit soon.

Room Tip: Many choices in style of cabins and villas to fit any need.

My partner and I staid 1 night here in one of the villas (Sugarlands #2) after I ran the Smoky Mountain half marathon. I wish we had staid there the night before, too! It was so clean, luxurious, and peaceful - Tucked up right there in the woods. Coffee and tea was available in the room, and I definitely took advantage of the very roomy shower! I also enjoyed the back patio that faced the trees. After a week’s worth of tent camping, this was a welcome retreat before driving all the way back to Nebraska! Highly recommend treating yourself to this unique luxury cabin experience.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Loved the hot tub and the Bistro. Missed the campfire and s’mores due to rain. The cafe needs to open earlier as we would loved to have eaten there. We are early risers and the mountains were calling. I would recommend as we had a great time.

Mo, that's a shame you didn't get to do the s'mores and breakfast. We hope you'll try again.

We were in Townsend for the Smoky Mountains Half Marathon and 5K.

Everything about Dancing Bear Lodge is spectacular. We stayed in one of the detached villas. Our large room had two queen beds, a small kitchenette, beautiful tiled bathroom and a back porch surrounded by trees. The villa was immaculate with everything you could possible need including fresh ground coffee and even an umbrella!

The villas and cabins are surrounded by undisturbed nature at its best. You immediately feel at peace. We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary continental breakfast at the Bistro which is beautiful inside and out. The breakfast was not your typical cereal and muffins, but fresh items including fruit, an egg and vegetable quiche, huge cinnamon rolls and much more.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the tourist attractions, this is the place to go. We are already planning our next visit to the Dancing Bear Lodge.

Room Tip: Detached villas were very nice. The cabins were beautiful from the outside, but did not see interior.

We've had a lot of people tell us they appreciate the umbrellas we provide. Comes in handy on rainy days! We are glad you were able to share in the serenity of our location. We look forward to your return!
