I rented Bear Escape in this resort. Apparently, the owner of this cabin owes HOA fees or some other bill in arrears. I rented this cabin in good faith and paid in full 45 days prior to checking in. Instead of dealing with the owner and without any warning to me, they shut off the water. This is an issue between the owner of the cabin and the HOA. This less than professional treatment of a guest occurred early Saturday morning making it impossible to rectify the situation. I would be very leary of renting any cabin in this resort if this is the way the HOA and Sentry Management treat guests who have no dog in the fight between cabin owner and resort. No warning and done on a Saturday morning demonstrate an over zealous HOA and management company with no class or consideration for guests. Think twice about renting in this resort.

We rented a cabin, Lazy Bear Lair. It was such a nice, quiet resort. This was our first time renting a cabin, and we were pleasantly surprised. There was an indoor pool in a building at the bottom of the hill, but we were too busy to enjoy it. The resort was very clean.

We spent our family vacation a couple of weeks ago and stayed at Wildbriar inn which we rented through Cabins of the Smoky Mountains and we couldn't have been happier or enjoyed it more. It is very close to Dollywood and all the attractions that we enjoy. The cabin was clean and we had supplies that we needed to get started which is what they all do. It was our 1st time to stay at Hidden Springs Resort but we're very happy with our experience . We will recommend the Wildbriar Inn, The Cabins of the Smoky Mountain Rental, and Hidden Springs Resort Area if you are looking for a place to spend your vacation.

For the second year in a row we visited the Smokies with family. With 16 of us, we were pleased to find a large cabin in the Hidden Springs Resort. The grounds are mountainous, but clean and quiet. The pool area is a plus. The house itself, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, was clean and well maintained. It is very convenient to the attractions of PF and Gatlinburg and the Smokies Park, without the hubbub.

While this cabin had an AMAZING view, it left a lot to be desired on many counts and our group of 10 quickly decided that this would be our first and last visit to this resort.

There was a significant sewage smell in the two bathrooms on the top floor of the cabin, which was highly noticeable at the bottom of the resort at the pool. Depending on which way the breeze was blowing, it was sometimes overwhelming.

The housekeeping staff does a MINIMAL job of cleaning the cabins in between guests. There was dust and debris all along the baseboards and we could see tons of debris in the a/c vent in the floor of the bathroom for our room. It looks like the swept the high-traffic areas, made the beds, put out a few towels and called it done. Our (very cramped) shower looked like it hadn't been scrubbed or wiped out in a while. The outside of the window looking from the dining table toward the deck was splattered with water from the hot tub and was in desperate need of some Windex.

I also noticed several of the Asian lady beetles (the orange/brown ladybugs) in the cabin during our stay, which made me further question how well this property is maintained.

Upon arrival, the half bath had no toilet paper and there was only one roll per bathroom with no extra rolls provided. We also had to call and ask for additional towels and washcloths, as they didn't provide enough for each guest. It would have been nice to know that we needed to provide our own ahead of time...before driving up the mountain.

Our bed was fairly comfortable and it was nice to have a ceiling fan in our room, but the layout of the top floor was very strange in that our bathroom had to be accessed by going onto the catwalk/hallway and then into the bathroom. It was just rather awkward.

The cabin did have wifi, but the bandwidth was pretty much nonexistent. I couldn't even download my email while connected. Once I turned off wifi on my phone and used my data, it dropped immediately. Don't go with any ideas of streaming anything on your phone, iPad, or laptop on the wifi!

If it weren't for the view at this cabin, I probably would have given it a rating of terrible.
