We had a great experience with Bluff Mountain ATVs. We've gone on similar tours where kids my daughter's age couldn't drive their own (understandably). But here, 13 was OK. They put her on a smaller model (300 vs 450's that we rode) and she did great. There were probably 30 riders or so at the 4pm slot but they broke us up into three groups. Our had another teenager in the group and our guide seemed very careful to help them. We would definitely book another ride with this company the next time we're down here, which is about once a year.
One negative review I read said they didn't give adequate instruction on how to drive the vehicles. That was definitely not our experience. We felt the instructional video and talk they gave ahead of time was very thorough, followed by hands-on reviews of the vehicles out back. NOTE: They tell you how easy it is to get injured or damage the ATV if you're not careful. They stress this over and over. Well, this happened with one of the other three groups in our time slot. A guy wasn't paying attention and slammed into the back of one of his buddies and launched off his ATV. Luckily, he wasn't hurt, but his credit card probably was.
