This place doesn't look like much but the food is awesome. One important tip though they close at 8pm during the week. We walked in just in time. The portions are pretty good size so 2 can share a plate and have plenty to eat and sample a couple of things. The place looks small but there is also seating upstairs. So if your on Broadway you have to stop at Jacks for some BBQ.

The bbq was good but not the best we had on our trip to Nashville. Service was quick and portions were good.

stopped in after a long walk & HUNGRY. the BBQ was good....meat was tender. It was a buffet style place, you walked in and order what you wanted. It’s nice to have it prepared in front of you but I always wonder how long it’s been sitting there, but hey it tasted good no matter what!! I also tried two of my favorite things...mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese...neither were bad by any means but it was definitely the taste and consistency that let you know it came in a huge package and was microwaved to thaw out. Overall, id go back but would skip the Side dishes.

I didn't think the pulled pork was as great as the st louis ribs and brisket, but for the price, it's a very good value with good portions. My husband and I split the combination plate, and we were more than satisfied. I liked the mac and cheese, and the corn bread is unique and it was a fun experience. It's not a fancy restaurant, more dine and dash, and the line moved a long very quickly.

This place is nothing to look at inside, but don't let that put u off. The BBQ is excellent, whether its pork, beef or turkey. Utensils are very basic (e.g plastic/Styrofoam) but they do not affect the taste! Usually a line up so get a table first, or you may have to eat standing up. Excellent food.
