Firstly, do not try to type into your navigation device the address given on the Trip Advisor site. The correct address is 61 Princes Way.
This is a clean motel with all services needed for a two day stay for a family wedding.
The pool is quite small but clean and unfortunately closed and covered at the end of November.
Staff were pleasant and helpful at booking and on arrival.
The highish price includes a continental breakfast .
If there are mobility issues ask for a ground floor room as stairs are substantial. Parking is convenient and close to rooms.
A variety of small wines at $5 seemed very reasonable to us.I appreciated the Cafitaly machine.

We recently stayed at this property for one night. We booked a king bedded room Toorak room that was described on the property's website as a "sophisticated and stylish spacious room." This was not our experience.

We stay at many country motels throughout Australia. This room can best be described as a standard motel room with a king bed and a few extra amenities. The photo on the property's website shows this room to be quite spacious. This look has been achieved by the use of a very wide angle lens. in reality, the room is about the same size as others in the property and about the size of most small motel rooms in regional Victoria.

The coffee make and leather couch were a bonus. However, the bathroom was very basic, with the soap, shampoo and conditioner being dispensed through an industrial dispenser screwed to the wall. The aroma was more chemical smelling that would be ideal for a room at this price. The shower cubicle also had a lot of mould in the grout and the base of the shower. The pillow top bed appeared to be a twin bed that was put together as a king bed (not uncommon in some settings), with a pillow overlay put over the top. The bed leaned a little on one side.

The staff were very friendly. We would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay, but strongly suggest you purchase a standard room rather than the Toorak rooms. It would then be better value for money and more commensurate with what you would expect from a basic regional motel.

Room tip: Book a standard room unless a king bed is required.

Pros: Easy check-in-out. The FO is easy to deal with; brief and courteous. I dont know if she owns the place, as she took care of everything during our stay. From the reception to the breakfast preparations. Walking distance to Warragul city centre. Front Office was easy to deal with. Free parking. If you just need a place to crash, its not too bad. Smoking area in the front of your room (just make sure you close your door as they are quite strict about the smoke entering the room). The bathroom/toilet is Ok. Basic and nothing grand. Free supply of shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap. Utensils. Free coffee, cream, tea.
Cons: They feature free continental bfast, but all they have were cereals, fruit juice, coffee, fruits, toasts and jams. Maybe it was just me - expecting at least eggs and sausages. No microwave. Considering we were on the outskirts of Melbourne and paid 125aud, I think its pretty expensive. I did pay the same rate in the city, with bigger and better room. So with such comparison, that became a let-down. The ceiling is low, and I kinda hate the red couch and design in the room. Perhaps the hotel can rethink of something cooler and more relaxing color for the room?

The Edinburgh Motel is a cute little motel, intimate one might say with only 16 rooms. But be sure to book ahead, because with the high standard of hospitality coupled with the relatively small number of rooms and it's central location means this is not only the best of the 3 motels in Warragul it's also usually the first one to fill up.
When staying in Warragul try The Edinburgh first.

Room tip: There's 1 upstairs room with a balcony. Get this one if it's available.
