This place is just 5 or 6 miles away from the Jack Daniels Distillery. It is a perfect place to stay after that visit as it is the former home of Jack Daniels' brother. We stayed in the cottage and loved it! It was a step back in time with the furnishings and the place overall but had all the conveniences needed for a very comfortable stay. There is no tv and the wireless didn't work well at the cottage but it was perfectly fine as we enjoyed unplugging and taking in the peaceful surroundings of the farm. The owner, Anita, is a wealth of knowledge about the place and has great lavender products which we gladly purchased. The breakfast was great and she accommodated my allergy issues. She also recommended a great place to eat in Fayetteville. Boris the cat gave us some great entertainment in the morning chasing a mouse around a lavender bush but never catching him. Mulberry isn't very big but take a little drive around and check out some of the old buildings and Civil War history. If you want a Marriott, go stay at one. This place is a great experience in history, culture and peace and quiet. I highly recommend staying here for a night.

Room Tip: The cottage gives you lots of privacy but we were able to see the room inside the main house. It also would have been a great experience.

Thank you so much Lori, for taking the time to leave such a nice review! You have hit on every aspect that we try to emphasize! It is our goal to share the history and beauty of the farm as an enjoyable and somewhat educational experience. We feel it is important for people to have an opportunity to connect with the land, good food, and natural surroundings, to take a breather in an otherwise busy existence. All decisions are made with quality of life in mind. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Life is good on Mulberry Creek!

My husband and I were looking for a quick and relaxing getaway. We heard there was a lavender farm in TN and had to check it out. What a wonderful experience! The owners were an amazingly talented couple who were intent on making the stay enjoyable. The cabin feels as if you've stepped back in time. The homemade breakfast the next morning was amazing. We loved getting to meet the different members of the farm---namely the chickens and sheep and geese. A lovely place to stay and plan on visiting again.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience on the farm! The lavender is doing well and we are excited to be expanding - more and more lavender to enjoy for all. Right now, the Fall colors are exploding around the farm, a beautiful sight. We love the season's changes. Make sure to come back again soon! Life is good on Mulberry Creek.

A friend and I spent a fall weekend in the area and had a wonderful time. We drove through Mulberry and read the memorials. Through the open fields to the house surrounded by the maple trees dropping their yellow leaves, we sighted groups of deer at the edge of the clearing. We were welcomed by the inn keeper and her friendly dog and cats who were sleeping onf the spacious porch filled with rocking chairs.

We stayed in the large bedroom on the first floor across the hallway from the parlor. We spent our evening catching up on events in our lives All in such an antique atmosphere there were hidden mini refrigerator loaded with snacks and drinks . Along with cabinets full of hot drink mixes. This fireplace -friendly room gave us such a warm feeling.

We slept in a tall bed which lulled me to sleep instantly. Bathroom was in the corner of the room. I'm not sure how I feel about the paranormal, but during the night we both had an experience that can only be described as friendly visit from "someone".

At our wonderful breakfast in the parlor before the fireplace, we had a wonderful conversation with the hostess . As we talked, we asked her if any guests had ever expressed having "visitors" during the night. She smiled and asked if we did. She showed us around the upstairs rooms and told of different experiences she and her family , and guests had had.

We enjoyed learning about the history of the farm . It was a lovely day to walk to the large creek where the road had originally been to arrive at the place. It was a wonderful visit and I would go anytime again!!!!

We stayed at the Dream Fields Country B&B on our way from Texas to Ohio. My husband had always wanted to visit the Jack Daniels Distillery so we planned our road trip around that. We had our 3.5 yr old daughter with us. Debbie put us in the cottage (which is a converted grain barn) and as we arrived late in the evening (7:30) she had the place already warmed up for us. The bed was soft and comfortable. The next morning we woke up and walked around a bit. My daughter loved petting the horse and watching the deer across the field. Breakfast was fantastic and served in the cottage. Not only was it very close to Lynchburg but the property itself was beautiful. It was previously owned by a member of the Daniels family which made the trip really fun since the next day we toured the distillery. My only wish is that we had spent more than one night here (our fault) and that it hadn't been so cold outside that we couldn't explore more, but we went to November.

Had a wonderful time at this charming B and B. It is located just outside Lynchburg and in the middle of a 240 acre farm- very peaceful and relaxing. Filled with antiques, the house is just lovely. Our room was very comfortable and Debbie, the Innkeeper, was a real jewel. She fixed a wonderful breakfast and we had the best time talking with her. Will definitely try to make it back here!
