Great atmosphere felt like you were in Italy with the décor and the vibrant Italian staff
- service is very good set in a great location in Cronulla - ordered the $65.00 buffet for 7 people which was quite costly for what it was - probably would go for the set menu as I found the servings very small. Wine would be your standard upper class restaurant pricing at $45.00 + per bottle - would definitely go again
Dining with friends we wanted to try a good variety of dishes. Entrees were shared consisting of calamari, buffalo mozzarlla, lamb rissoles. All were very good. Mains were spaghetti vongole, ribs, fish and gnocchi. All were tasty but gnocchi was disappointing. I selected it because of popularity from reviews. It was bland and tasteless except for cheese. Wine was pricey and not great selection. Service erratic. No bowl given for shells for vongole. Water ran out took a while before it was replaced. Overall not an unpleasant experience but not in a rush to go back.
Had a birthday dinner here last night with 8 girlfriends. The owner was our server and was lovely and the food was above average. While we were waiting for the main meal the owner was walking out with a pasta dish which he dropped and smashed next to me. The pasta went on my leather bag, boots and leg. The plate also flung up into my legs and I said that it hurt twice. The owner took my bag away and wiped it down. He apologised but it wouldn't of hurt to offer us a glass of wine for the episode. Speaking of wine... they needed our table when we finished dinner so we had to move and all 9 of us had to stand in the middle of the busy restaurant to finish our $65 bottle of wine... I won't be back
Very pleasant afternoon on a winters day. Food was delicious and service was premium. Beef cheeks were beautiful. Think l will try the Saturday special Osso Bocco if this is an identication of the rest of the menu.
