Las Casitas is a small group of unique casitas in a great location. The owners Juan and Elvia are the nicest people you could hope to meet. We stayed in the studio and found it very comfy. The bed is hard but we loved it. We were five minutes from the beach with awesome restaurants in one direction and five minutes from the downtown in the other direction. The grounds are spotless and the rooms are great but if we went again we would stay in the super studio just for more room. The studio was roomy enough but with a long stay, a little more would be better. We were there 26 days.

Hello:

Thank you very much for your nice comments!!! We hope to see you soon again.

Certainly, the studio is really nice but as you said, for long term rentals we highly recommend the superior studio or even the regular loft (casita familiar).

Regards!!!

What a lucky find: These bungalows are safe, clean and about 10 minutes from the beach. We were here a month, room was cleaned daily and the kitchen was more than adequate. There was plenty of hot water and good pressure for your shower. Each unit overlooks the well maintained grassy area and the sparkling clean pool. There is a patio table and chairs outside each unit for you to enjoy.
The price is very good value and we would recommend this place to any friends visiting Rincon. Luis and Elbia are the caretakers and looked after the place like it was their own. They would do anything to help and answer questions and one of the reasons we would stay again is because of them. Thanks so much.

Las Casitas is a well-managed property comprising half a dozen compact housing units around a lawn and small pool. The compound is secure and well-maintained. The location is a short walk from the centre of Guayabitos but down a lonely and poorly lit road next to the police station and just off Hwy 200.

We stayed in the smallest unit – a studio – with a room-divider wall separating a toilet and shower stall, and a roof like a cathedral! This was more than adequate for our three day stay. The bed was rock-hard – even by Mexican standards - but this was just about my only complaint with the room. Being late August, it was stinking hot but the air conditioner worked like a charm. An ancient TV offered a huge variety of channels including English language which made for a nice change after our Mexican travels.

We did not cook in the unit but it appeared to be fairly well if basically equipped. Fresh water is an additional charge. However, wifi was free.

The pool was delightful – small but perfect to cool off.

I did get an opportunity to view another unit – it was larger with a loft bedroom and bathroom, and better suited to a long-stay or a larger family. Would I stay again? Probably not – the bed was a major drawback and the property was too far from the beach for my requirements.

Hi.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Certainly, our little houses have a peculiar design which is our main innovation and it is hard to find elsewhere.

Regarding the firm bed, we have a kind of solution which is a little extra foam mattress which make the bed quite softer. If I had knew that you were not sleeping well, I would have offered you this. This way, we can satisfy several type of requirements from our guests.

We understand that being 3 minutes from the beach (in a car) or 10 minutes (walking) could be our main weakness, however, this fact makes our location the most quiet are of town. On the other hand, our rates are very reasonable for the size of the units.

Thank you once again for the opportunity.

Sincerely, The Casitas Staff
