Nice people. Lots of noise and rules that are not enforced. Noise from 8 am to past midnight although there is supposed to be a quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. Lots of loud Mexican music that doesn't stop. A 3 day headache. Not exaggerating.
Rooms are basic and clean. Bring towels. Bring earplugs and prepare to be mistrusted.
This is not a quaint town or hotel. Do not believe what you read.
Cheap. Low class. Go back to PV.

A clean, friendly moderately priced hotel that is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Gets very busy on weekends with locals from inland Mexico getting away for the weekend. Internet can be intermittent- but hey! You are in Mexico. Don't intend to rely on your credit cards here - pretty much a cash driven economy in Guayabitos - the prefer pesos! Wonderful community for a relaxing holiday, if you want something different from the all inclusive option. We will be back.

The hotel is clean, has some good staff, and is located close to the beach. It's full of friendly retired Canadians who enjoy socializing.

It's family owned which is nice, and it's set up beautifully. There is a lot to recommend it; however, there are some real significant issues. They say there is wifi, but it does NOT work at all, except in the lobby and then sporadically because everyone is there trying to access it. You can't use the wifi in your room at all.

There are also only charcoal bbqs, no gas bbqs and the noise level is out of control at night.

It's not a bad place. With improvements, it could be a great place to stay.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, ask for the "old building" at the end.

this hotel is deceiving from the street. There are 3 buildings and a pool inside. There are 54 rooms and they all include a fridge. If you want a kitchenette, they add a 2 burner stove, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker etc. The rates are $42 US per night for the smaller room and goes to $51 US for the kitchenette room. The rates improve for longer stays. There are many people there that return every year for weeks and months, and most of them are from Canada. Its comfortable, friendly and fun. The pool is great and there are lots of nice loungers and comfy chairs and palapas for shade. Lots of close grocery stores and laundry etc. There was music on Friday night, provided by a Canadian and lots of dancing.

Room Tip: the elevator doesn't work, so if you need a room without stairs ask for one

We stayed for a few nights at the Loma Linda while visiting friends in Rincon. Our room was on the main floor overlooking the pool. It was adequate for a few nights stay. A fridge was available and the management provided a coffee pot and a toaster on request. There are larger rooms in the hotel for long stays. The pool was a lovely area to gather with friends. WiFi worked best in the lobby - but we could access it at times from our patio.
