We have visited Sam and Manuel for the previous three years in a row when this restaurant was in PDM. Now they have relocated we made two trips from PDM to San Pancho to eat with these guys over the Easter holidays and the highly innovative menu has got even better. I would recommend the marrow bones with shrimp, Octopus with onion coulis and the rack of lamb. Actually I'd recommend it all but these were lovely new dishes we hadn't experienced before.
The margaritas with coriander, jalapenos and hibiscus petals are still knock out and worth the trip alone.
San Pancho is a gem and situated in a quiet side street the atmosphere at the restaurant is terrific, of course made all the more special by the very attentive and personal service Sam, Manuel and the team provide.
The concept and quality of this restaurant would happily sit side by side with some of the best eateries in London but at a rate that is affordable and without the need to book 6 months in advance.
