This place is AMAZING!!
Maureen & Peter are brilliant they made our wedding day memorable from start to finish. The staff are excellent.
The Castel is out of this world all the rooms are fabulous especially the wedding suite(osprey). The views are breath taking & amazing for photos. If your looking for a AMAZING place for a wedding or any event then go & have a look at the beautiful Castel me & my new husband highly recommend it.

We booked a 2 night stay for my girlfriend's birthday .EVERYTHING was excellent : the room, the breakfast ( delicious and filling ) and last but not least the hosting by Maureen and Peter . Two particularly nice touches were a birthday card from our hosts and the rooftop viewing and local history chat on the morning we left.
our hosts were friendly ,gracious and completely unaffected by living in such a grand house. I wish them every continued success , ably assisted by Sidney the Dog !

Room tip: Skylark gave great views across the estuary , no road noise anywhere as well away from and above the road.

From start to finish, from foundation to turret roof, flowers to furnishings, pets to people, breakfast to dessert, there is no better place than this.
Myself and my now wife visited in December last year to view for our wedding venue, and from the moment we turned through the entrance we knew we had found the perfect place,
We met with Maureen and everything she said would happen did, from beautiful individual rooms to some of the most gorgeous food ever, nothing was too much trouble and both her and Peter,Sienna and assistants provided attention to us and our guests that was again second to none.
The castle itself is again perfect, and the time and effort to keep it so must be huge,
If you want somewhere where everyone who ever arrives goes WOW ,then this is the place,
Myself and now wife, can't thank you or praise you enough as tripadvisor doesn't do a six rating, but when they do your it.

My husband and I initially came across this beautiful castle when we were looking for a venue to get married. The second we saw the castle at the top of the driveway and the beautiful views over the estuary, we were blown away and just knew this was where we wanted our wedding to be. We then got to see the inside of the castle and we were amazed with how beautifully it'd been restored and to the highest standard throughout. We both knew this was it and we left with a date provisionally booked to be confirmed with the registrar.

We stayed a few times before our big day, experiencing some of the beautiful rooms that are on offer and sampling the food. As other reviews say, the food was out of this World on every occasion, thanks to the lovely Maureen. Maureen and her husband Peter both work incredibly hard and make everyone that comes feel so welcome, they are what makes the castle so special. They both went above and beyond helping us plan for our wedding, which was very much appreciated.

When it came to our big day, it lived up to everything we could have wished for and more. From start to end, Maureen, Peter and their daughter Sienna made sure everything went to plan and that all our guests were well looked after. After the gorgeous food we'd experienced on our previous stays, we were a bit apprehensive with the extra catering on the day of the wedding, it might not be up to the normal high standard. We needn't of worried as it all came out perfect as we'd enjoyed on our previous stays, with all our guests commenting on how amazing the food was.

We were able to enjoy the venue with our guests over a long weekend, which really added to our wedding; being able to have our loved ones there to celebrate with us over a few days. It is a weekend my husband and I will remember for the rest of our lives and it's down to Glandyfi Castle with Maureen and Peter that made it so special.

We will definitely be returning in the future, where we will be able to experience the magic that is Glandyfi Castle.

We visited here when we were looking for a wedding venue. It was the first venue of several we'd shortlisted and the minute we sat down with Maureen we knew we could cancel all the others.

We wanted a relaxed and informal day, yet of course we wanted it to be special and memorable. It was this and so much more. I cannot tell you how perfect a day it was, nor how much our guests loved it. The setting is beautiful, the interior is breathtaking, the food was pucker, and the way Maureen ran everything was brilliant. All the best plans have some deviation and we'd already said that once the day was underway we completely trusted her to manage however she felt best, so when everyone stayed outside mingling and chatting on the terrace, food was served there with no fuss. When we decided to have speeches out there too, again it was managed like clockwork. Informality is a difficult trick to pull off but the team here were first rate.

At the same time though the place itself subtly tells you this no fluke. Decor is impeccable, and the bedrooms are jaw-dropping. All the guests who stayed over were in awe when they opened their bedroom doors, and the downstairs rooms don't disappoint. It's magical how it manages to feel so homely and so plush - though once you meet the owners you understand how it happens.

We cannot believe how lucky we were to find the perfect venue and the perfect team for the most amazing weekend of our lives. It was the most stunning home from home.
