A very nice hotel with pleasant public areas where you can relax with or without refreshments. Access from Castle Street (the main shopping street) is via their coffee shop which has a fine array of cakes etc. If driving, the car park is on the sea side of the hotel so make sure you turn off of Castle Street towards the sea, as the sat nav will take you to the Castle street entrance.
They have two restaurants, one less formal than the other; we ate in the bistro (the less formal) and the food was excellent. Breakfast is served in the other restaurant and again I couldn’t fault the food. Service throughout our stay was very good.
Our room overlooked the sea and was equipped with hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a medium sized flat screen television. I found the bed a little uncomfortable and the pillows too hard for my liking. The en-suite was small but well equipped with toiletries.
Overall we enjoyed our 1 night stay and would definitely use the hotel again if we return for a longer stay.More
