We stayed for 3 nights recently and the stay surpassed all expectations.
The cottage is beautiful, we arrived to music playing, a lovely scent, a spotlessly clean cottage and lovely Linda was there to explain everything.
The little extra touches were just great. Brand new embroidered dressing gowns and slippers, a bottle of wine in the fridge, fererro rocher chocolates on the bed and Molton brown shower gel. Absolute luxury and perfect if you want to get away from it all.
We felt very welcome, Linda was available if we needed anything but it also felt very private and secluded. The cottage has all the amenities you could need. We had a very big hairy dog with us who was also very welcome and catered for!
Location is spot on. Secluded but a short walk to the beach, mountains and with a lovely river running behind it. The town of Barmouth is a 5 minute drive. We would have big walks and the get back to the AMAZING hot tub. I really miss the hot tub!!!
Overall amazing value for money, more than we could have expected and we can't wait to return!
Absolutely amazing and could not fault one thing about this place. Linda was a wonderful host and has an excellent eye for detail and made the cottage so warm and cozy with a beautiful atmosphere. The cottage itself was clean, and all the added extras are a bonus and has everything you could ask for. The area is so nice and peaceful and beautiful perfect for a long day of walking. The hot tub is perfect and relaxing to end your day and the whole experience was romantic and perfect for couples looking for a getaway. Would highly recommend and definitely wont be our last stay! We arrived to be greeted by our host, Linda, who was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was first class with extra care being taken to add the finishing touches of a 5* stay i.e. A bottle of Pinot Grigio chilled in the fridge, Ferrero roche chocolates on the pillows, dressing robes, slippers, four poster bed, Welsh cakes, unlimited wi-fi etc, etc.
The garden is sublime, quiet, private and very relaxing. We made lots of use of the lovely Jacuzzi both in the mornings, afternoons and especially the evenings with the coloured lights and a bottle of Prosecco.
The location of this cottage was ideal for our short stay, 4 days, being central to the areas we wanted to visit. We explored Barmouth, its beaches, took the boat ride up the river inlet and had the best fish and chips in the area, as recommended by Linda, at "The Mermaid" in Barmouth.
We travelled along the coast to visit the picturesque village of Portmeirion, as used by "The Prisoner" series, which is now being run by a Charitable trust. This was well worth the entrance fee of £8.50 per adult (when booked online), however, we opted to have a pub lunch on the way back in the gardens at The Oakley Arms Hotel which was very good value.
To finish our stay we had a very fine dining experience at the Bistro Bermo in Barmouth which I will review on their site, lets just say it did not disappoint and make sure you book a table.
Overall we had a highly relaxing and pleasurable stay at Llwyn Ynn Cottage with Linda as our host. We cant thank you enough for your hospitality.

Had a lovely time in this cosy cottage. Every part of it is relaxing from the bed to the garden! Linda was excellent and we had everything that we needed. Not far away from snowdon, Barmouth and Harlech. We really enjoyed out stay!
