Stayed for two nights B&B, and one evening meal. Lovely country house style hotel. Good sized room, nicely furnished. Television positioned much too high up on the wall however, so uncomfortable viewing unless you stand up! Freesat box thick with dust.

You have to decide your cooked breakfast requirements the night before and there are restrictions! (Black pudding OR hash brown). The cold buffet items quite limited, Kellogs cereals in boxes are not very inspiring.

Hosts were friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with other guests over coffee in the conservatory.

Hi, goodness so sorry you didn't find your stay great, as a great stay is what we aim for but thankfully we seam to hit the mark more often than not.

Glad you enjoyed chatting with the other guest in our small Bed and Breakfast and found some positives for your stay.

So sorry we missed the dust on the free sat box. We have slept in all the room to check on how comfortable they are and found the TV was perfectly positioned for us but everyone is different.

The buffet consists of fresh fruits, cheese, plain yogurt and fruit yogurt, muesli, a selection of 5 different cereals in individually portioned boxes for freshness, home made marmalade, home made jam (locally sourced) and juices. The "create your own" breakfast has 12 different items to choose from. We ask guests to choose up to 7 items, but we are not unreasonable and would have gladly given you any extras if you wanted within reason as we have done with other guests.

Pre-ordering has allowed us to expand the choice of our menu without creating a lot of waste, which works really well. Guest can choose from traditional full Welsh, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, salmon, omelettes with 2 filing options, 2 styles of pancakes and porridge with a home made berry compote or choose from the "create your own" breakfast items all come with toast, tea, fruit /herbal teas or coffee. So sorry you found this limiting in any way.

We always try our utmost to accommodate all our guest individual needs as much as possible and within reason.

The location of the B&B was ideally suited for us as its close to a lot of the attractions in the park. For us this was Coed Y Brenin bike and trail park. Other sites such as Cada Idris are also close. The direct location of the property is extremely quaint and secluded. It doesn't feel as if its within the tourist hub. The garden is well kept and little to no noise from the nearby road.
Upon arriving at the location Gareth noticed our bikes and gladly put them in a secure garage. This was the first gesture of many that added up to a great experience at Afon Rhaiadr. We were shown round the B&B and encouraged to make ourselves at home. We had booked the rose room and while not large had everything you needed for a short stay. Toilets and bath was clean with good design too.
Both Gareth and Gina were full of advice for our itinery during our stay. This was really helpful in planning bike routes on our second day choosing the Mawddach Trail to Barmouth. In the evenings there were a variety of old puzzles to solve after their candlelight dinner, which I recommend as a must.
A great find for a romantic getaway and enjoying the most that Snowdonia has to offer.

Stayed at this beautiful B and B for two nights in early June. A magical setting, with excellent hosts. Our room was spacious, clean and full of character. The food was amazing too. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We chose a superior room, which had a spa bath and garden views. Beautiful.

Visited the B&B for 2 nights in early June and had a wonderful stay. We had afternoon tea on arrival which was included with a voucher we were using - this was delicious. The hosts are super friendly and we really enjoyed chatting to them. They also gave us some walk maps to use during our stay which was really helpful. The house is a beautiful old house and the garden is really interesting to walk round. All in all a great stay and we hope to visit again soon!
