“Peaceful, luxurious and, quite simply, our favourite place to stay!”
Reviewed 21 December 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Totally away from everything but a few minutes in the car and you can visit Porthmadog, Criccieth for all shopping needs. Beautiful beaches also nearby and Snowdonia within easy reach. Hebog Bach is perfectly situated to enjoy all these places and provides a wonderfully warm, comfortable and peaceful cottage to return to in the evening. Absolutely love it !

“Modern, homely, beautiful cottage”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We loved our stay at Hebog Bach. The cottage is modern, beautifully furnished with the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in. Plenty of space for our two couples, young child and dog. The fire was brilliant on the cold February evenings. Lovely touches to the home and fabulous welcome package.

The cottage has plenty of fields all around for walking, and is only a short drive/1 mile from Criccieth which has shops, cafes and restaurants. Very much recommend Dylans.

Also close enough to visit the beauty of Snowdonia National Park - Porthmadog, Betsw-y-Coen, Barmouth; we even travelled up to Anglesey one day.

We had a lovely time and would definitely come back again.

“Very Comfortable and ideal position for exploring North Wales.”
Reviewed 19 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This was our 4th visit and as usual we were very well looked after by the housekeeper who lives a few hundred yards up the private lane to the properties. There were fresh flowers on arrival and a welcome pack of local goodies. We had the services of a cleaner twice a week, which was great as we stayed for 2, fresh towels as necessary and clean linen for the second week. There are also beachtowels provided which is a nice touch. The kitchen is well stocked and dishwasher and washing machine plus tumble dryer are provided. There is garden furniture but we found this a bit worn and tired and probably overdue for replacement, but there is also a new Kettle barbecue for your use.

This cottage is well situated for a beach holiday, Portmeirion village and the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways . The cottage is great for birdwatchers, with families of swallows nesting under the eaves, we watched pied wagtails, bullfinches and goldfinches and were very lucky to see hares in an adjoining field. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Osprey centre a short drive away. Portmadoc has a good selection of shops including a delightfully traditional department store , Kerfoots,( go and look for the stained glass window) whilst Criccieth is a small and charming beach resort with good independent butcher and baker . Excellent fish and chips on the hill !

“A real Gem”
Reviewed 25 February 2013 for a stay in December 2012

We went a bit out of season so we could take the dogs on the beaches. Despite the weather being absolutely awful we managed to get to Black Rock Sands, which is a 2 mile beach you can drive your car along, park up and walk the dogs, its about a 10 minute drive but worth it. The cottage has everything you could ever want and more, its a really beautiful place, the garden is secure so the dogs can have a wander round, they loved it. Everything is well thought out from the seating area and dining area to the bedrooms with its beautiful bedding and decoration. This place really makes you want to look after it as if it was your on home. Viv is lovely and welcoming and you get really looked after. The welcome pack of wine, cake, milk and fresh coffee is a lovely thought. We have booked to go back in March 2013 it is really really that good.
