First stop for us on a family trip through Europe. Had an excellent time here and really enjoyed the meals after long walks through the beautiful countryside.

Staff were friendly and rooms were excellent.

Stayed here for a couple of nights last month. Nicely done up hotel. Bathroom was built into the room which is a pet hate of mine, making the room an odd shape. I prefer a square room with a bathroom outside the square, but anyway. It was a pleasant stay, staff very friendly, breakfast great. Restaurant food okay(ish), but I did make the mistake of ordering chicken curry in a hotel in north Wales so that was perhaps my fault...... whole chicken breast covered in a curry sauce of sorts... not fantastic. Overall though it was nice and well located for walking.

Good beer. A reasonable selection of mid range wines. Don't expect a full celar of fine wines as this is more gastropub and less haut cusine. For mid range dining in the area it's superb value for money and my favorite for food quality and friendly service without an eye watering bill. Chef's Paul Jones and Daniel Zavala deserve a shout out for some quality work out back and Rachel does such a good job managing front of house.

Room Tip: Call and ask for rooms to the front with best views

We stayed at the Bryn Tyrch Inn for 2 nights on either side of walking up Snowdon. It was in a great location with short drives to pretty much anywhere in the area. The rooms were comfortable & the staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast options were great too

Stayed here for a couple of nights when climbing Snowdon. Rooms are perfect for a couple of nights and are nicely decorated with good shower and bath
Hotel is very comfortable and food is good
Rachel the owner is great and very welcoming and engaging with the residents and Caroline the new manager should take a leaf from her book with regard to this
Good location for Snowdonia in general and close to Betsy Coed

Room Tip: Room 9 is a little larger and to the back of the hotel
