“Restful Haven”
Reviewed 21 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

What a beautiful place to stay.
Made to feel a home from the moment we walked in, with gifts of milk, eggs, home made cake and fresh picked flowers in every room.
So peaceful, star lit night sky, pony rides and soak in the hot tub. Never want to come away. Thank you Teresa and Lotti.

Such great comments and thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your booking with Best of Wales. Teresa is a great host and glad you enjoyed a warm Welsh welcome. The cottage is cosy and tucked away from busy eveyday life. The hot tub is a bonus and lovely to sit and watch the stars.
Come back soon

“Beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of Wales”
Reviewed 16 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

My wife and I stayed for a week in October and couldn't have been happier with the cottage. It was clean and well-presented, with a decently equipped kitchen. More importantly, there was a log burner and a secluded hot tub in the garden!

Ty Clyd wasn't hard to find or reach, but is set back from the road so it offers peace and quiet. It's also situated roughly 15 minutes' drive from Aberaeron and 30 minutes' drive from Aberystwyth, with a pub and shop within a short walk.

The owner was very friendly and greeted us on arrival to show us around the place.

If you're looking for a relaxed getaway, or a base to explore Ceredigion, then I can highly recommend this cottage.

Thank you for taking the time to write such lovely comments. The property has a secluded feel with private space and glad you were made to feel welcome. Visiting Aberaeron is lovely and lots of great walks in the area as well. The hot tub was a great addition to the cottage and lovely to relax in at the end of the day.
Hope to welcome you back again soon

Wow. Arrived to this spotlessly clean and spacious cottage.

Lovely log burner and hot tub.

Welsh cakes left for us too. It's only our first day but already planning our next visit.

If you book to come here you won't be disappointed

Really quaint cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
Owner very helpful and friendly.
Ideally positioned for visiting all areas between Cardigan and Aberystwyth and in land towards Lampeter.

Thank you for your booking with Best of Wales and taking the time to write such lovely comments.
The cottage is lovely and a great deal of time and care has been invested in it and so good to hear you appreciate it. The location gives time and space yet offers easy access to the coast.
Look forward to welcoming you back again soon
