“perfect pet friendly family rental”
Reviewed 5 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

located directly opposite the aberaeron harbour so offers superb sea views from the front of the house and 2 main bedrooms. 3 bedrooms- 1 x king, I x double, 1 x twin. large living accommodation with 2 sitting rooms and breakfast kitchen, 3 bathrooms. parking for 1 car at the rear of the property additional parking at the front if there is space. the cottage provides everything you need for perfectly relaxing holiday, a home from home with added extras such as a gas bbq and excellent garden furniture. secure garden at the rear perfect for doggy family. beds are extremely comfortable and showers are excellent. walk directly out of the front door and down into the town, less than a 5 minute walk to pubs and restaurants, shops and the beach. ideally located for a drive into Newquay, cardigan or further up the coast. highly recommend the summer grill steak house for a special treat. Cerniw offers everything you could need, a lot of thought has gone in to setting the house up as a holiday let, including offering some history on the house.

“Great cottage”
Reviewed 27 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This cottage is in a great location, a few minutes stroll from the harbour and restaurants of Aberaeron. It is really well equipped and comfortable. I was initially worried about it being a pet friendly cottage, but we saw no pet hair or evidence on dogs being in the home. The only negative for us was it's proximity to the main road. Both the 2 bedrooms in the front could hear the road noise at night and on some occassions it was quite loud so did disturb our sleep. However, this would probably not prevent us from staying again. Recommend the Cellar and New Celtic restaurants. For families with children, a day at Heatherton activity park (nr tenby) is well worth it.

“Fantastic house in beautiful location”
Reviewed 11 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This house is fantastic, everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect, short walk to shops, pubs & eateries & the pebble beach is a short walk too - perfect. Lovely riverside walks for the dog & such a pretty town. We would love to stay here again & I'm sure we will in the near future. Thank you for a lovely break.

“A lovely house in a great location!”

We had a lovely weeks stay over Easter. The house is delightfully situated overlooking the harbour. It is well equipped and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Downstairs there are two reception rooms and a dining kitchen. There's also a shower room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - there's a twin at the rear and two doubles at the front. There's a shower room and a separate bathroom. The rooms at the front have shutters which take some getting used to but add to the quaintness. Outside there is a patio, ample garden furniture, a bbq and enough parking for two cars. However, the factual description above does not really convey what a great place this is to stay. Thanks to Sue, the house is very well kept and you are sure of a great welcome. Step outside and it's a short walk to the very pretty town and the harbour. You can sit outside, enjoy a drink or an ice cream and watch the world go by. There are good pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. If there are finer places in the world when the sun is shining, I am yet to find them.
