The Peabody Lobby Bar never disappoints. Great cocktails and great service. Also the prefect place to people watch. I think this is my favorite spot in all of Memphis.

We came in on a Sunday afternoon, my DH had never been to Memphis before or even knew of the Peabody. I brought him here to see the ducks and have a drink in the beautiful lobby.

It was a very hot day in Memphis and we had been walking for a little while so we were ready for cool and liquid refreshment. We got both and more in the lobby bar.

We sat at the bar, and the bar staff was very attentive, we took a moment to look at the menu and decided to go with The Peabody Signature Jack Daniel's Peach Sour. They were $16.25 each. They were VERY refreshing and tasted great. A little sweet and tart at the same time.

We would come back again and again for the atmosphere, the decor, the staff, and the drinks. I would recommend to anyone.

This apparently is a self service bar in a fine, old hotel. While three people worked behind the bar, no one came to wait on us despite sitting in full view for at least 10 minutes. There were maybe 8 people in the bar total. We left and went across the street to another restaurant. We were at the bar last night and the waitress had too many tables and service again was slow. Management needs to read their Yelp and other reviews.

We stumbled into this bar on a rainy Thursday . Frankie was our waiter & he was so personable, we decided to stay for dinner. The evening was delightful, mainly due to Frankie's enthusiastic attention.

Stopped for a few drinks and appetizers. Very comfortable and casual atmosphere. Quiet enough for conversation. Ample seating. Limited menu and wine list. While it was not that crowded, it took a very long time for us to get our food and drinks. I would say a lack of attention. I could understand if the place was packed.
