Heard the music and just had to stop, band plays in a small yard outside to the side of the main bar, great place to sit and pass sometime with the blues and rock n roll.

Great dinner for a couples party of six. The waiter was friendly and funny. We were a bit worried we would get incorrect orders since the waiter didn’t write it down, but he did a great job and got it right! We could hear the music next door that was very enjoyable...we were even hoping the door would get left open so we could hear it better! The food was very good. I personally had the chicken pasta and it was delicious! Would definitely go back again!

We had dinner here one night and it was terrific! I had Barbeque Pulled Pork which was outstanding. My wife had Chicken Fingers which were HUGE and delicious. The service was excellent and the staff freindly. The outdoor bar had live music which was very good.

I have been here in 2010, 2012 and now in 2018. Every time the experience has been exeptional good. I have no idea how a place in a busy area as Beal Street can keep such a good quality of both meals, atmosphere and staff over such a long period, but they know how. Try the gumo or the spare ribs or grill platter. You wont be disapointed. Minus: Too few vegeterian alternatives.

When we visited on Wednesday evening, we were the only customers for most of the time we were there. We were waited on as soon as we arrived and drinks came quickly. We had a cup of the etouffee and a cup of the gumbo. Should have had a bowl of the gumbo. It is worth its reputation. The etouffee was good too. The meals arrived quickly and were hot. The bread that accompanies these two dishes is excellent; fresh, herby, tasty.
