Whenever I'm in Memphis Bon Tons Cafe is always my breakfast destination. Just a short walk from Beale st. it's worth the walk.

Bon Ton is a fabulous hole in the wall that serves fresh, hot, delicious breakfast. Our table had pancakes, eggs, grits and sausage gravy. The biscuits were perfectly light and warm and scrumptious. Good coffee too.

I read that this place closed, I hope it's not true! We had a great breakfast here and loved seeing the old nightclub down in the basement where Elvis use to perform.

The Bon Ton appears to be closed for good. When and friend and I tried to go for breakfast on Saturday it was locked up tight. It appeared to have gone out of business. Their website no longer has any details nor posts their menu. It only advertises their catering business. Very disappointing

Stayed in Memphis at the Peabody hotel and this diner was just around the corner. Great food and service and the owner showed us it's legendary past downstairs. It use to be a club called the speakeasy where a young Elvis once hanged out before he was famous. Well worth the visit
