This hotel is getting old and worn, but across the street from Graceland....the front desk staff and the shuttle drivers were very friendly and helpful...breakfast was OK.... The bar was very disappointing, small and unfriendly.... If we stayed again in Memphis, I would stay in Memphis proper near Beale Street, and take a day trip to Graceland....

First room the lock was broke on the sliding glass door,
tv did not work and the phone did not work.....plus it was filthy...We complained and were then given another room....it too was filthy dirty and when we saw the cockroaches, well that did it....Demanded a refund. After much haggling finally got our credit card refunded.
It is only a few blocks from Graceland. We then went a couple of blocks further and stayed at the Scottish Inn.
It was just lovely, like new suites and super clean for $15.00 more than the dumpy Graceland Inn.

There were lots of broken windows and broken sliding glass doors. Our room was very dark and the floor was very dirty. The room and hotel was tooooo scary to stay. We took one look and wanted our money back. We found out later it is in a bad part of Memphis.

The front desk was very gracious in giving our money back.
