Arrived to find someone blowing the gorgeous coloured leaves from the driveway for us. Got to hotel, Covid measures being taken by us and hotel. Reception staff were lovely and very welcoming. Masks must be worn while walking round hotel. We were taken to our room, staff did not come into room as room had been sanitised before we arrived. The room was spotless as was the toilet. Nice view over paddock and side view of loch. We had booked a table for dinner, and we were delighted with food on offer, when it arrived, it was delish. The waiting staff were so friendly (covid masks etc worn, had to keep to same table for meals) Beds were super comfy. Slept very well. Breakfast was also extremely good. Porridge and honey.mmmm!!! The grounds were lovely, so peaceful for having a leisurely walk before and after food. Sheep slowly grazing around you was a nice touch. We enjoyed the hotel, the tranquility and food so much we decided to stay another night!!! It was a great base for excursions north, south, east & west. Donald (part owner) and his team were so nice they are very proud of their hotel and so they should be. Will we be back? YES (next year). Would we recommend? DEFINITELY! Super hotel, super staff and delicious food....On second thoughts, maybe I should have kept this a secret. hahaha

When you imagine a Country House in the Highlands it’s probably this. Quiet, understated unpretentious.
Subtle quality. Staff gently attentive; food exquisite and very reasonably priced and lots of things that showed the owners get hospitality e.g. Curtains that fitted and blocked out light; closing the hotel down for the evening; fires throughout; appropriate decor; a ruined castle; a view of the loch..... a sheep on the lawn... and some other adorable bits of eccentricity .. were they open, I’d be up again for Christmas!

A delightful stop for lunch in one of the dining rooms overlooking the Loch. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was superb. Will definitely plan a stay here when next we visit the area.
Thank you for your outstanding hospitality!

We had a lovely stay at the Glengarry Castle Hotel back in August.
Would happily stay here again
Staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient.
Grounds were beautiful, and very much enjoyed our time on the loch using the hotels two row boats.
Excellent breakfast, and dinner was also of a high standard.

We stayed here 2 nights. Decor is old fashioned but rooms are good size and clean. Situation is excellent with good views down to loch. Staff are friendly and attentive. We ate dinner there twice - it was traditional Scottish fare which tasted good although portions are small. Breakfasts are excellent.
