We booked here for one night on our west highland way trip and found a few issues.
Firstly the communication before our stay was awful. I could not get an answer from the hotel telephone, it went straight to holding music and they did not respond to emails, the central reservations line did answer but could not help me in booking dinner. This is what goes wrong when companies try to centralise control instead of letting the hotel run itself.
The biggest issue though was sleep... we were fast asleep when at 12.30am we were woken by loud voices in the corridor chatting for about 30 mins. It must have been staff as the rules saying no food / drink can be served after 10pm means all residents must have been in bed??
One good point is the 2 ladies on reception could not be more helpful when we wanted extra teabags, milk etc..More
