Had 3 night stay at Ronaldsay in feb with another couple, the log cabin looks great and is fitted out to a high standard, we had mixed weather but this didn't spoil our break, the view from the cabin down the loch and up the mountains is fantastic, the cabin has everything you could want and very well presented.
The 2 local shops are very well stocked and priced, should you wish to cook on site, which we did once and the local hotel did first class meals also priced very resonable.
Would recommend this rental and look forward to booking again.
Absolutely beautiful cabin well maintained with everything you need. The views over the loch are breath taking. Local shop and pub within walking distance everyone very friendly and accommodating take a torch. The ariundle centre is a must after a local walk for a hot drink and the best selection of home bakes and the breakfast at cafe sunart will put you on well into tea time. As a special treat we had a meal at Kilcamb lodge which was devine. Some beautiful walks locally and also some really nice walks a drive away such as the singing sands, castle Tioram in Dorlin and some beautiful white sand beaches on the way to Mallaig via the costal route. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
Always loved this part of the World, the Lochs the hills and the wild life.
All that was required to complete the stay was some where you could stay and look at the view. Warm and pleasant surrounds Ronaldsay Holiday Lodge did just that.
It rained , snowed and frost after all it's November but you would have never have known it.
