Stayed here for 2 nights why visiting friends, clean rooms and friendly people. This is close to tourist places if your wanting to explore. This is amazing value for money & I would recommend to couples or solo people not so much family. :) will return

Came here for Christmas dinner with the family and it is the best Christmas meal I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant. It is a nice cosy wee bistro and is also nice to come to for a meal and a couple of drinks which is bring your own bottle. Will definitely be back.

We picked Lochgilphead as a stopover on our way north.
The Empire Travel lodge is in a quiet part of the town, clean, comfortable and on the ground floor !
Jim and Ele Hunter were friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts.
Enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast.
We ate at Smiddys on their recommendation which was good.

A home from home. We had a family dinner for 10, the food was excellent, the service was warm welcoming and very friendly. Very high standards of cleanliness throughout. If you're looking to stay in the area I highly recommend this family run hotel.
