We booked the house for a long weekend in May to accommodate six adults and four children.

It turned out to be perfect for the occasion as it was even more spacious than the photos suggested. It was also very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

We were fortunate to have warm, sunny weather and took advantage of this to make good use of the space both inside and out. The canal path was perfect for walking, running (plodding) and cycling.

The owner, Michael was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any queries we had prior to our visit.

Overall, it was an excellent venue in a beautiful location which I cannot recommend highly enough.

We booked this house to accommodate family members attending a funeral. Notwithstanding the occasion, we were delighted with this property, which we knew from the past, having lived locally for many years. It is top quality and ideal for exploring the area. Quality fittings and very well kitted out, with the log burner an added bonus. As a family venue for a get together we will most certainly be back. Many thanks.
