I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of April. The weather was fantastic, making it hard to fault Skye or the hotel.

The rooms at the Toravaig are decent quality, although a little small. They are only let down by the relatively small size of the TV's, which would be a simple thing to change.

The food in the restaurant, and at breakfast, is excellent, although a little pricey. They are also happy to serve the food as room service, which helps after a long day of driving.

The service at the hotel is also excellent, with very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is good, near the ferry port, but it's a shame the hotel looks so close to a fairly busy road. Having said that, from my room there was no road noise at all.

great rooms, lovely service and the food is seriously good. Amazing breakfasts each morning - we had the full dinner and it was superb. 5 star food in a very relaxed setting so we didn't feel bad about having no fancy clothes- only jeans and t-shirts.

We went for my husband's 50th birthday. The room was lovely & had everything we needed, even free WIFI. The staff were superb, especially David, who was friendly, helpful & fun! The food was fabulous & the chef even made a specially birthday cake for my other half. I would recommend this hotel, it is not cheap but for a superb relaxing break, it cannot be beaten. We have travelled all over the world & this must rate as one of the best places we have eaten ever! The weather was bad, with serious gales & rain for most of the 4 days we were on Skye but hopefully, we will be returning soon for another excellent relaxing time.

We just returned from a 3 day stay at this fabulous hotel. It is small & friendly, but with service you would expect at a 5 star hotel & food from a Michelin star resturant! The setting is in the south of Skye, you can walk down to the shore from the hotel & enjoy glorious views if, like us, you are lucky with good weather!
We went sailing with the owners, Ann & Ken on Saturday, & had a great day out on the water & lovely lunch. Would recommend sailing to anyone - experienced or not - they really look after you for the day & you get to see Skye from the sea!
Would love to return here again, sooner rather than later if we get the chance!
